Chapter Thirty-Eight: First Day

"Finally!" Ethan shouted as he gave the skeleton to the Inspector, "That skeleton creeps me out. That Bone Painter sure is good to make the details still visible after the freezing process."

We all nod at his statement.

Professor Lex then turned to the Inspector, "How many days will it take to get the guys identity?"

"Around a week. This will be hard considering he's a necromancer."

After that, we left. Some of the leaders in the group parted ways. But because Grey, Forest and Professor Lex are in the Wind and Lightning Section, we we're all going the same way.

Each section has its own building. Like how our section is located in the East building. So each building has a nearby dormitory so that students won't take long in getting to their classes.

Well then, back to the thought of turning the harem to Forest. At first, I thought it'll be hard for me considering half of them are now leaning to me. I'm not that too dense to not notice what's going on.

Of course, i'm not that also cruel to turn half of the harem to Forest wherein their pasts aren't even healed yet. I don't want Forest to die. She's too sweet.

I left Forest for a while and ran towards Professor Lex. I pushed him a bit so that our distance between Forest is enough for her to be able to not hear our conversation.

Even if I do want the harem towards Forest, I still want to help her with Professor Lex.

"Psst, hey." I whispered.

Professor Lex turned and looked at me with a questioning look, "What is it Miss Scarlette?"

"Hey Lex, do you know-"

"No, I don't know and i'm still in authority 'cause I am your teacher so you should call me Professor Lex."

I scowl. How rude.

"Well then," I coughed and said in a sickly sweet voice, "Professor Lex, may I ask a question?"

He winced at the tone of my voice, "You're asking already."

I clenched my fists. This guy is getting on my nerves. So help me or i'll knock this guy out even if he's our section's professor.

When he saw my glare, he smirked and waved his hands to indicate me to continue what i'm saying.

I then first calmed myself.

"I was about to ask, if you have a type when it come to girls you like?" I asked in a whisper.

He raised a brow, "What? Don't tell me... you like me?" With that said, he backed away a few steps.
