"KOOKIE KOOKIE!"

jungkook looked up from the couch as taehyung bursted through the door with a huge smile plastered across his face.

"what is it?"

"GUESS WHAT"

"what?"

"I GOT MYSELF A DATE!"

jungkook's eyes nearly bursted out of his sockets upon hearing those words and he nearly choked on his saliva.

"excuse me what?"

taehyung plopped down next to jungkook on the couch and let out a happy sigh. jungkook looked down sadly but quickly covered it up when taehyung turned to look at him.

"isn't it great? she's so nice, we've been talking for awhile now and i found out that we used to go to the same school as her."

jungkook raised a brow, "oh really? what's her name?"

"amber." he said while smiling to himself.

"oh.." jungkook said softly, "well i'm happy for you tae. Go get em."

taehyung looked at jungkook and smiled his signature box smile. he then got up and skipped up to his room.

jungkook let out an exasperated sigh and ran his hand through his hair, leaning his head back on the couch and looking up at the ceiling.

"seriously taehyung what were you thinking?" he mumbled.

the next day, taehyung walked down the stairs expecting to see jungkook as usual but when he looked around, he was nowhere to be found. feeling a bit sad, he brushed it off and grabbed his things before texting jungkook and heading out.

jungkook woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside and looked over at his clock, reading 10:48 am. he groaned and swung his legs down from his bed and went over to his bathroom to wash up. he then threw on some clothes and checked his phone, seeing taehyung's message.

MESSAGES

tae ♡ : hey kook, I didn't see you this morning :p did I finally kick you out? i'm going to meet up with amber for the date so i probably won't be home until late ;) if you come over make sure to lock the door and don't eat all the food in the fridge you loaf of bread

END MESSAGES

jungkook sighed and left him on read. he then tossed his phone onto his bed before heading downstairs and grabbing something to eat.

"he hasn't replied yet.." taehyung thought as amber was ranting from across the table.

ever since taehyung noticed that jungkook had seen his message but didn't reply, his mind has been off the girl in front of him and towards the boy that obviously likes him, but being his naive self, he never realized tsk.

"taehyung? taehyung!"

he looked up at amber and found her with her arms crossed and a glare from her eyes.

"have you been paying attention at all to what i was saying?"

he quickly looked up and said, "uh yeah, you were talking about... needing to buy some tampons?"

she took a deep breath and ran her hand through her hair, "no that is not what I was talking about."

taehyung scratched the back of his neck and awkwardly mumbled a 'sorry.' amber sighed and rested her chin onto her hands and looked at taehyung.

"taehyung, do you honestly want to be with me?"

taehyung quickly lifted his head up and looked at her with a shocked face as he said, "what? of course i do! i just can't seem to figure something out and it bothered me a little but i'll get over it."

she looked into his eyes for a bit before closing her eyes and opening them again.

"okay, i believe you," she said as she turned her focus back onto taehyung, "but if there's anything that's bothering you, you know you can always talk to me right?"

"right."

"okay good. now as I was saying, i really need to buy some new bras."

but anywho, so far this is the longest chapter i've written yay! school started today so i dont know when ill be able to update but i shall try my best :) with that said, i bid you farewell.
