LAST GOODBYE

You are my love

My one and only

But fate has been unkind

For we were meant not to be

I’ll set you free

Though it’s hard for me to say

“Go now and leave”

Before I beg you to stay

When you walk out that door

Please don’t look back anymore

For I don’t want you to see me cry

Bidding you our last goodbye

When we see each other again

I hope I have forgotten you by then

But this feeling I have for you inside

I know I just cannot leave behind

You are my love

My one and only

But we have to accept the reality

That this is our last goodbye for eternity
