Stranger

welp i have no idea what i'm doing back here again as i have kind of moved on from the warriors fandom but eh this account is dead so i may as well provide you guys with some form of entertainment :T

Stranger

Once, you were a stranger.
You came running to me in fear.
I said I'd protect you with my life
If danger ever neared.

But you grew out of being a stranger,
And you became more of a friend.
I now believed what I'd said
About protecting you until my end.

Now you're not a stranger.
You're the most amazing cat I know.
I will protect until the end,
Even if it were tomorrow.

Moons go by, the two cats grow.
Together they fight through the fire and snow.

They are happy together, night after night.
Their smiles are wide, their eyes are bright.

But tomorrow comes faster than they would have expected.
And that old stranger couldn't be protected.

Don't leave me, stranger!
I haven't time to mourn!
I can't let you go
As I've sworn and I've sworn

To protect you with my life
And keep you from harm!
Please, my dear stranger,
Don't leave me and our farm.

But the old cat couldn't save his dear stranger.
At least his best friend would no longer face danger.

Now I'm the stranger,
With no one to remember me by.
I will keep our barn safe, stranger,
Until it's my turn to say goodbye.
