A Swiftpaw Poem
Don't deny it sister
We deserve it more than Cloudpaw
If we catch more prey than him
Bluestar's icy heart for us will thaw
There is nothing out there
Don't you worry, don't you fret
This little hunting trip
Will be something we won't regret!
But if something lurks waiting
For us to run into its claws
I guess we can out this
Apprentice ceremony on pause
If something is there
I'll protect you, I swear
Nothing will ever hurt you, Bright
I promise with my life
Okay so this is weird
We've been traveling for a while
And nothing in this shadowed territory
Makes me want to smile
There's this strange scent
I've been smelling
In this forest
Where we're dwelling
Maybe I was wrong about this
Time to turn around?
No, you're too stubborn
So you stand your ground
I guess that a little while longer
We can stay here
But oh no, Brightpaw
What's that I hear?
Pack pack
Kill kill
Brightpaw stop! Don't go in there
Its dangerous, you hear?
Please stop, I won't leave you
But death is waiting near!
Don't leave me, sweet sister,
I love you with all my heart
And if something were to happen
Soon we'll make our part
Brightpaw run, I can scent them
They're coming out of there
And we don't don't get out of here
They'll be wearing our hair!
Whatever is there
I'll protect you, I swear
Nothing will ever hurt you, my Bright
I promise with my life
Brightpaw! BRIGHTPAW! I'll save you!
