I wish I could tell you they broke up and we reconnected and we are going to have a happily ever after but the sad truth of life is, that you don't always get a happily ever after. Or if you do it is not with the person you wanted to have that ending with. Thomas never found out about my bullying, and he will never understand the damage he has done himself to my ability to make guy friends. He broke his promise. A promise that meant the world to me (and him at some point in time.) But he is happy. And if you love someone, which I love him dearly, you want what is best for them. You want them to be their happiest self, even if that means you are not in their life.
