Chapter 2

Dahyun's Point of View

"Dahyun come here!!!" Mina shouted from her room that was next to mine. I stood up and quickly went to her room.

"What is it?" I asked, leaning at the door's wall.

"Look at this article," Mina said like she is in shock, so I walked towards her and looked at her laptop.

My eyes slowly widen as I scan through the Article. OMG! I can't believe that this is true. I-I mean why? what? how?

"Mina" I mumbled, speechless. I don't know what to say! damn it. "Dahyun this is your chance," Mina said with a wide smile on her face.

"Yeah." I only muttered. I don't even know what to feel with this very shocking news.

"Hey, what's the matter?" she questioned and pulled me to sit on her bed.

"I-I don't know" I answered. My concern right now is his feelings. Is he alright? Gosh! what kind of question is that Dahyun! Of course, he isn't.

"Dahyun..."

"I don't know Mina. Yes, this is my chance but it doesn't matter, I'm sure Jimin is hurt right now" I worriedly said. Then Mina made a gesture of thinking.

I'm curious about what Mina is thinking.

"Help him forget about her," she said in a tone like it was the best idea as of the moment. I shook my head at that. Tch. As if he would notice me.

"Mina, my concern is his feelings and I don't want him noticing me just because Seulgi left him. Yes, I am. head over heels over him but...I also love myself" I explained.

"I'm proud of you," she said with a matching proud smile on her lips "But, I am just giving you an idea. It's still your decision" she added.

After minutes of staying in Mina's room. I went back to my room and I'm still thinking about it.

Why did they break up?

What happened?

How is he?

Then Mina's idea flashed in my head once again.

Jimin will you ever notice me?

There is a performance today in Music Core. I took a shower early so that I won't rush myself again today but it looks like I have to be more early than that.

"Dahyun, are you okay?" Momo asked while I'm putting some lipstick in my lips and she's fixing her earrings. Why is she asking that? Kinda weird.

"Of course peach," I answered.

Momo and I went downstairs "There you are!" Jungyeon let out. "Hurry you two! we need to be early" we, three immediately get into the Van. So much for waking and showering early. They still rush me. Tch.

"Dahyun!!" it was Taehyung who called me.

"Yes?" I asked

"Jimin Hyung is looking for you," Taehyung said cutely with his deep voice then he pointed where Jimin is. I wonder how he does that, being so cute yet he holds a manly deep voice.

I was dumbfounded at first. Questioning if what I heard is right, As in him? Jimin? Park Jimin is looking for me? Is this a dream or what?

I immediately and nervously walked towards his direction. Feeling excited and nervous. Why am I even feeling this way, it's not as if I'm gonna confess or something?

Dahyun get yourself together, okay?

"Jimin" I called his beautiful name. Then he looks at me. Straight and directly in the eye

OMG!!! He. looked. at. me.

That's a first, my heartbeat so fast and I can feel myself sweating bullets. "Oh, Dahyun there you are, your manager is looking for you guys, anyway, he's there," Jimin said then pointed our manager, with his cute little fingers, who's beside their manager.

"Thanks" I thanked him and did my best not to stutter. Should I ask him? Say something self! This is your very first actual conversation with him!

He was about to leave when "W-Wait! Are you okay?" I worriedly asked. My heart still beating so fast, because of mixed emotions.

"What do you mean?" He looks so clueless or maybe pretending to be. He's trying to pretend that everything is fine but I know and I can feel that he is not okay. Not even close to okay.

"You know, you don't have to pretend that it's okay, just let it out, I'm here to listen," I said then left him there. It bothers me so much that he has got to pretend. Well, life must go on. No one would care if your hurt, it still goes on, it doesn't stop for you.

"Jihyo Manager Jung is looking for us" I told her when I neared them, then she announces it to the other members. We all walked in a group towards our Manager.

The Bangtan is currently performing "Not Today" then after them we're next.

"Okay, guys fighting!" Jihyo encouraged us all before we perform.

-KNOCK KNOCK-

We were dancing but a silly thought came into my mind.

Jimin please knock on my door cause I'm going like TT. Promise I'll cheer u up like ooh ahh.

After the performance, the Bangtan Congratulated us for performing well and we also congratulated them back, of course.

"Dahyun...." He called my name and I stilled. But I managed to look at him. Why does my name sound so beautifully when he said it?

"Congrats" Jimin smiled and automatically I smiled at him too. I can feel the genuineness of his smile. He isn't faking it or pretending anymore at that moment and I loved every bit of it.

I am so happy like crazy Jimin finally noticed me. In all those years in this industry never, not even once did we have a conversation, nor eye contact!

Well, I admit, sometimes I do talk to his pictures. So embarrassing, what a lovesick fool I am.

Gosh! I am so easy to please ugh! just one freaking smile and eye contact here I am being so happy.

"Yah! Dahyun, I like that smile, keep it up " Tzuyu happily said.

I wish that my smiles are always made by you Park Jimin.
