I've never seen the name Staurolite, so thumbs up for originality! Oh, and general OCs are rare. Good on you!

Abilities: Strategist, logician, all of a Mudwing's talents, although not strong as most
I like! Especially since when I DO see MudWing OCs (which is rarely), they usually have a fire resistance from being born out of a blood-red egg. I'm glad this isn't another one of those cases.
Appearance: Staurolite is very short and small for a Mudwing, and with a not-as-high strength to muscle-mass ratio as most. His tail is fat and short, setting him rather off balance when walking and flying. Staurolite's legs are stocky and strong, but not fast and not flexible. His large horns are almost a jet black, and curve dramatically, giving him a devil-like appearance. His eyes are a warm caramel, but he suffers from Coloboma, a deformation of the pupils, causing them to be almost shaped like a cross. This only affects his eyesight slightly by making the iris's natural adjusting to light much slower, and he is easily blinded by bright light, and it takes longer for his eyes to adjust to the dark. His face can appear warm and kind when he smiles, and he has a strong jawline, but it is usually not apparent with his normal, emotionless expression.
I like this a lot! I like how he isn't like "I'm super strong and I can kill everybody with the touch of my claw" and I like how detailed this is. But my only problem with this appearance is the devil-horn-thing. It just seems a bit much. Otherwise, this is an outstanding appearance and I hope you don't change anything about it.
His scales are a dark mocha on his back, and caramel on his belly, with his claws and tail being more of a yellow color. The tips of his phalanges darken to more of a blackish brown, and the membranes of his wings are honey-coloured.
I like it. I can imagine him perfectly.
He likes to wear various bracelets on his tail, the most common one being a simple silver band with the words "The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting" engraved onto it, but he has one made of gold with engraved rubies to wear for special occasions.
I like how original this is, especially with the words being engraved into that silver band. I love it. I hope you don't change a thing about this.

Personality: Staurolite is a dragon of inner emotional turmoil, although he is mostly adept at hiding it beneath a cold exterior. He is almost psychopathic, as he never feels guilt or regret for any action. He hates personal relationships, and will sometimes react with anger and fear towards flirting or approaches of such manner. If he is especially angry, he will sometimes try to attack you in vain. He is a genius of war strategy, but war is all he's ever known and has trouble with social, personal, and almost any other situation. He used to be very sensitive about his deformities, but he has grown in confidence in himself, and now Staurolite is no longer hindered by his body.
