Chapter 6

He said me something which made me really happy. He asked " Are you hungry ? Can I take you out for lunch ? " This was not something which should make me happy but it did make me happy and I didn't know why. He just asked me out. I dont know if wantedly asked me out but he did. And that made me so happy. I was literally smiling like an idiot. I was so lost thinking about what he did now and forgot that I was supposed to give him an answer. I was hungry and I could sense that even he was. So I ended up saying that he can take me out for lunch. It was not a real date but it was one for me.

Namjoon POV
I changed and did all my stuff as fast as I could, so that she wouldn't be bored. After I was done with all the stuff I came out. I walked straight to where Y/N was sitting and sat beside her. It was quiet for sometime. I asked her, " Are you hungry ? Can I take you out for lunch ? " I did this cause there was no more food left in my home and I didn't want to lose this chance of asking her out. I don't know why she was smiling really wide after I asked her. I assumed that she would say 'Yes'. It took her some time to reply but I just sat there waiting for her to answer and enjoyed every second of her presence near me. She replied saying " Yes. I am hungry. Let's go out and have something. " This instantly made me more happy than I was. I asked her if she was ready to go and she said she was. I booked a cab and it arrived at my place in no time. We went out and I opened the door for her to sit inside the car. Once she sat down, I seated myself next to her. We reached the restaurant within a few minutes. I payed for the ride and got myself out of the car. I opened the door for Y/N to come out and she did. We went in the restaurant and occupied a table at the corner which also had the best view. For some time we looked at the view outside and enjoyed ourselves. Then I asked her if I can call the waiter. She agreed by nodding her head. So I called the waiter and asked her to order food for herself. She did and I ordered after her. We talked till the food arrived. Once the food arrived, we both ate our food pretty fast cause it was really tasty and we were hungry. We didn't waste anything and had the food till the last bite and till we were full. The waiter came and cleaned the table. I excused myself tell that I had to go to the washroom while I actually wanted to pay the bill. I went and payed the bill successfully. I also told the waiter not to come to the table again. Because if he did then Y/N might ask the waiter for the bill. I made sure in every way that Y/N should not come to know that I payed the bill. I went back to the table and took my seat. We talked for sometime and then I asked,
" Since we are done with our lunch, should we go back home and talk about the rest there ? "
" Yes, sure. But we didn't pay our bill yet " she said.
" No. The manager of this restaurant is my friend so if needed I will pay later. " I said. I had to lie. Even though I didn't want to lie to her. I booked a cab and it arrived couple of minutes later. We got in to the cab and went to a park rather than our houses. We walked for sometime around the park and I noticed a small ice-cream stall. I asked,
" Do you want to have some ice-cream ? "
" Yeah, I wanted to have some for a long time now. But I will have it only on one condition. "
" Yes madame, what is your condition ? "
" I will pay for this one. As you already paid enough for the cabs and a lot more. "
" Fine by me. I wouldn't have allowed this if you didn't want to have ice-cream for a long time. "
" Hehe. Thank you !! It is my pleasure that you allowed me to pay this time " Saying that, she smiled widely and hopped all the way to the ice-cream stall. I walked behind her not in a mood to hop and play like a child. We reached the stall and she asked,
" What do you want to have Namjoon ? By the way I am going to call you 'joon' from today and I won't change that no matter what you say. "
" I would like to have a minty-chocolate flavour.  (if that exists) "
" Okay. Make that 2 minty-chocolate ice-creams please. "
" We have similar choices joon. I like that. "

The lady gave it to us in a few minutes and she started licking the ice-cream like a kid having ice-cream after a long time. She was so cute. Ahh can't I stop thinking about her. I didn't notice that my ice-cream was melting. She turned to look at me and and caught me looking at her. She blushed realising that. She noticed that my ice-cream was melting and made a really cute~, shocked face. Ahh it was so cute~. I gave up trying to stop thinking about her. I asked,
" What happened ? Why are you so shocked ? "
" Joon, how can you let that small cute little ice-cream melt ? And why were you looking at me ? "
" I...uh...I- " Thats all I said thinking of a excuse to tell her and make her believe that I wasn't looking at her and why I left the ice-cream to melt.
