Accidents Chapter 1

'Elena wake up!' I groan annoyingly

Come on this early?

'Wake. Up. Elena. It's. 8:00. We. Need. To. Be. At. The. Airport. By. TWELVE!!!!' My twin sister says as she slaps me with a pillow in between words

'Fine fine okay okay I'm up' I say rubbing my eyes tiredly. Me, mum, dad and my twin Katherine are off to Paris today, dad normally goes there a few times a year for work but he decided we should all go for a holiday there

'Praise the Lord' Katherine said annoyed

'Well it's not my fault you kept me up watching stupid Aladdin' Her and her Disney movies, then again I'm absolutely addicted to Pirates of the Caribbean. Jack is mine btw

'Well I'm sorry okay? I couldn't sleep and I needed comfort' she says

I laugh at her 'yeah, okay'

'What are you putting in your hand luggage for the plane?' Kathy says reminding me we both haven't done it yet

'My portable charger, some snacks and sweets and my tablet' I say

'What about your phone?' She says

'Back pocket' I say shortly

'Ah okay'

After we are showered, dressed and have our hand luggage packed we go downstairs for breakfast

'Hey mum, morning dad' I say pecking them both on the cheek

'Morning sweetheart' Dad says smiling back at me

'Morning love. You ready and packed? The suitcases are already in the car' mum says questioning us both

'Yep!' Me and Kathy say in unison which follows us by laughing

'Twins eh?' Dad says

'Identical you are forgetting' I say nudging him with my elbow

'You're both 16 and I still can't tell your voices apart' dad says laughing

'Thats the point of identical' Kathy says laughing

After breakfast we grab our hand luggage and all pile into the car ready to drive to the airport

This is where it all changed...

Ed sheeran was playing on the radio and we were singing contently, I never wanted this moment to end. But in the distance on our lane a truck was headed towards us speeding. My heart was racing at full speed
'DAD WATCH OU-' is the last thing I heard until there where screams and I felt the car flipping. When the car stopped I saw on my lap and gasped at my sisters body, lifeless body, there was blood everywhere on her face oozing out of her temple. That's the last thing I saw before it all went black
