today in English, we oddly learned about stars.
did you know that the stars we see might not be real? light travels before sound, and it supposedly took a billion years for the light of the stars to reach our eyes.
in reality, stars are actually trillions of miles away. they might be gone - and we would have no idea. we would still be living in the fantasy that they're here for us.
stars can dim, and they can fade.
and we won't know it until it's gone.
