Bionic Problems Chapter 20 part 3

Felicity’s POV: Stunned, I froze. The girl looked pleased with her work and stood back. My hair was blond. How hadn’t I realized that before? No, no, I was pretty sure my hair was brown. And the fact that I looked exactly like the girl standing away from me was even more shocking. I turned and looked at my friends. They all looked stunned and shocked. Even Chase who I presumed had just woken up. Diana looked like she was trying to tell me something. Chase looked at the girl, then me, confused. From the corner of my eye, I saw Diana whispering frantically to the others. I had to distract the others. It looked like Diana was coming up with a plan. “Aren’t you going to give up?” I asked, glaring at Victor, Douglas and that girl. That evil cloning girl. “You know you can’t defeat me. Not even with them.” Deep inside, I knew they could, but hey, at least I was buying us time! I turned towards the girl. “And you can’t beat me. I can be strong and fast if I want to —” The girl seemed to charge at me, but Victor put his hand out. Then he snapped his fingers at me. “You’ll be stuck,” He replied. “Just like your little friends.” Immediately the circles, two of them, circled around me, just like the ones around the others. I glanced at the others in panic. It looked like they had trapped all of us. “What do you want with us this time, Douglas?” Bree asked.  touched the edge of the ring. Immediately, it hurt. The girl snickered at me. While I was screaming in my head about the pain, for some reason, the three of them left. I supposed it was to activate the next step of their plan. I glanced at the others. My eyes locked on Chase. “Chase!” I shouted. “What’s your plan?” Diana looked at me as Chase frowned. Suddenly a hologram of Mr. Davenport appeared. I was surprised as I listened in. My siblings looked like they had an idea as the hologram message finished. Then, Adam, Bree and Chase started having a small little argument over how they would escape. I heard Adam suggest that Chase use both his abilities at the same time. Which abilities were they talking about? I saw my brother, Edward snort and nod. I wished I could hear what they were saying, but we were so far apart. It hurt knowing that I was so close to Chase, yet so far. As I kept thinking, angry thoughts swam in my mind. How dare Douglas do this to us! He couldn’t control us. What gave him the right to do this? As I thought, blocking out everything the others were saying, I screamed. For some reason, exhaustion passed over me. I collapsed to the ground, blanking out on everything. I didn’t know what happened, but what I did know was I possibly just failed everyone. The screaming probably attracted the attention of Douglas, Victor and the girl. With that, Chase and Diana wouldn’t be able to carry out their plan. Every time I tried helping I just had to mess up in some kind of way. I just hoped everyone would be a be to forgive me, because as the darkness closed in, I was forming a plan.
