Felicity’s POV: I didn't care what Chase had to say, although it broke my heart to have to watch him fall like that. If it was death to save them, I would do that. And that blond girl...we has more bionics in this world? What was going on? Was Douglas constantly spawning us bionic? Or did the man have to do something with it? The journey was all a blur with one goal in mind: save all my friends. My family. I arrived at their base and saw the blond girl. Her eyes were set on the main road. Did they seriously expect me to arrive in the most obvious way? No, I wasn't that silly. I snuck past the girl and wrestled open the door. I closed the door as quietly as possible and hurried down, but I wasn't as smart as I thought I was. There was a voice behind me, “I got her, Father.” The girl didn't even put in any effort. That really ticked me off. I simply had fallen into her — their — trap. I saw Douglas walk out of the shadows. The man was standing far away, but his eyes were on the ring. I quickly glanced at my friends who looked panicked. “Get away, Douglas.” I snarled. “If you know what's good for you. I can take you anytime.”What about her? And Victor?” Douglas gestured to the girl and the man. Then he laughed. “Oh, Felicity, as naive as you are brave.” I didn’t know what forced out the cruel, and cold part of me. Maybe it was Douglas, calling me naive, or me, remembering what the girl did to Chase. “Consider me awed by all of this,” I said, my voice dripping with sarcasm. I turned at the girl. “And you, blondie, leave my friends alone!” Diana looked pained, struggling up as I spoke. “And my siblings. Di, you okay?” My voice softened as Diana nodded. I looked straight at Douglas and the girl, whose face was turning red. “‘Blondie’?" She mocked. “What are you, insane? Stupid?” She reached for me, at fast speeds. I had a feeling she was about to do something bad from the way Edward was screaming. I ran for it. She chased me around the room in a blur. I could see Douglas trying to hide his smile as finally, I ran for the rings. I tried breaking them, but when I ran at them, I crashed and was sent flying back. I had no idea those rings were so strong. I backed up but as she sprayed whatever it was over me, I felt nothing change. But something must of changed or why else would everyone, except that evil girl, Victor and Douglas have gasped? I heard Douglas chuckling as he held up a mirror. I would have screamed if things weren't so crazy and strange. I had always thought my hair looked strange with my complexion. The eyes, the hair, the face...they never matched. And now I knew why. I watched in horror as my brown hair started fading away, revealing the layers underneath. Layers of thick, blond hair. And that wasn't the worst part. If I didn't know better myself, I could have sworn I was that exact same girl standing a few feet away from me.
