Chase’s POV: My siblings, Edward, Diana and I were now on the run. I lead them to a cargo ship but we had to hide. While we were hiding, I took out my wallet. I was trying to get a gadget I stored in my wallet. It was a gadget that could use thermal scanning and location of area. As I opened my wallet, a picture fell out. I looked at the picture and started to cry. I crouched down. I could feel a tear trickling down my cheek. I then realized I had forgotten to call Felicity. I couldn’t call her. I knew she was already suspicious but I didn’t want to drag her into this mess. Diana caught me looking at the picture. She squeezed my hand. “We’ll get out of this mess,” She promised. “You’ll see her again. Things always work out in the end.” I just nodded, not wanting to make her feel bad. Then a seagull flew on my head. I panicked. Bree ran and hid next to me. She also came to comfort me. The next few hours were a blur. I was exhausted and crushed. Then I noticed Mr. Davenport’s airplane hovering above. He dropped a ladder. Bree and Adam went first. I was about to climb on when a hand grabbed my leg. I yanked the man’s hand off my leg and quickly climbed the ladder. I was glad to see Mr. Davenport there. Then, I fell into deep sleep. All I could dream about was Felicity and I, at the beach together. Suddenly, someone woke me up. I was on the ground sleeping. I quickly stood up, embarrassed. “Hey, where’s Leo?” I questioned. “I lied about that,” Mr. Davenport said. He pressed the side of his neck and his face turned into Douglas’. “Nice mask, Mr. Davenport. You look exactly like your evil brother that captured us,” said Adam. “He is Mr. Davenport’s evil brother!” Bree replied. “And he did just capture us,” I added. I was angry. How could I not have seen this? I was so blinded. “We’re going to take you down just like we did before!” Bree yelled. Just then, a dude in a white mask harnessed lightning in his fingers and shocked us. I was in pain and passed out. I needed to wake up. For my siblings. For Felicity. I woke up. Standing in front of me was Douglas. I must have screamed because everyone looked at me and woke up.“Let’s go home,” Diana huffed. “It’s not like Douglas can stop us on his own…and we’re prepared. We can outmatch that…guy.” She gave a look of disgust at the masked man. Immediately, a girl sped to the man’s side. She had blond hair, curled at the edges. Her eyes reminded me of Felicity’s. Yet she had some kind of coldness that made it completely opposite of Felicity’s at the same time. I didn’t even know that was possible — cold and yet at the same time, they seemed like Felicity’s. “We can take her down anytime,” Edward said, and just to prove his point, he yawned. The girl ran at Edward, and he looked like he was about to move. But she was fast. Even faster than Bree which I didn’t think was possible. She grabbed him and judo flipped him to the ground. If she wasn’t on Douglas’ side, I would have been amazed and might have actually laughed. Right after, Diana charged at her and she simply elbowed Diana, sidestepped her, and threw her to the ground. From the way Diana winced as the girl sped back to the man, I could tell she had hurt either her leg or arm. “We’re going home,” Edward grumbled, standing up. “And you can’t stop us.” “You guys are not going anywhere.” The masked man said. Just then, two circles surrounded the five of us. Adam tried to break the circles but it didn’t work. The masked man came out and took his mask off. “Meet my partner, Victor Krane,” Douglas cackled. Victor was hideous, and I was surprised to hear that he had something to do with the bionics. The girl rolled her eyes but she didn’t seem bothered by his appearance. “I’m going to send Felicity a little message.” Victor said, smiling cruelly. The blond girl sped off and came back in just a second. She must have turned the cameras on because I saw Felicity staring around at our home. How did she get back so fast? Victor snarled, “Hey, Felicity…” “No!” I screamed. They kept talking and I kept interjecting, screaming at Felicity, telling her not to fall for anything. I only understood one thing: Victor knew Felicity was a nice person, she would come here to save us, only to meet Victor and her doom. “Felicity, it’s a trap!” I shouted. Victor didn’t even turn. He snapped his fingers and in a millisecond, the girl reached me. She somehow managed to avoid the rings as she lay her hands on me. Immediately I started randomly twitching and there was a burst of pain before I lost conscious. How was I ever going to save Felicity now? It was all my fault. Oh snap.
