Come to think of it, what genre are Evanescence? People constantly say that they're Christian Rock. They're not. That's been established in interviews. They're not symphonic metal. They're not alternative. They're not pop-punk. They're not punk. They're not metal. They're most likely just plain old rock. One cannot simply put Evanescence in a genre.
