aidan and frank had been together since the end of freshman year and everything was smooth sailing until junior year. everyone says it was the worst year and they definitely weren't wrong. within weeks, they'd been distancing themselves from each other, not on purpose of course.

when frank finally started to catch on, he made sure to make more effort to see and talk to her. he wouldn't dream of losing someone like her. aidan would appreciate every gesture she got, mostly favoring the dark red and dried roses as he knew those were her favorite.

the two planned to spend their weekends together as much as possible, even if it was a bit difficult at times.
