Trevore's POV

Nakatingin ako sa nakahimlay na katawan ni Melarie na natatabunan ng puting kumot. Inalis ko ang tumatabing na tela sa kanyang mukha hanggang sa maputla niyang leeg.

She look relieved and in peace.

My hands are shaking while touching her pale and cold cheeks. bakas pa rin sa maliliit na ugat ng kanyang mukha ang lason na dumaloy dito.

I felt myself shivering. My heart is pounding louder than the usual. My eyes...were shedding salty liquids. And I know to myself that i am crying.

I heard myself sobbed. For the first time in my life... I let my emotion took over my sanity. Today, i let myself let loose. I lowered my guards down. I allowed the world to witness my pain.

The pain of losing the woman that i have been loving.

"Time of Death, 11:59 am."

Nakaukit na ata sa aking balintataw ang mga katagang iyon. Those words that brought severe pain in my heart.

I instantly opened my eyes after i heared Dionysus' yell.

I looked around and yes, he's damn right. I am lying just outside Melarie's hospital room.

Mabilis akong tumayo at pumasok sa loob. Napaigik pa ako nang maramdaman ko ang hapdi sa aking katawan.

"Melarie..."

I saw her calmly sleeping on the hospital bed.

"She's alive." My heart clenched upon seeing her current condition.

"Oo naman diba? Anyare ba? And what are you doing outside man?"

"I... I had a bad dream." Tanging sagot ko na lang.

He sighed then tapped my shoulder. "Just let it be. Panaginip lang yun."
