Chapter 2

When we finally arrived at the Heartfilia mansion we were met by a small family of three and my little sister Wendy. Its been forever since I last saw her! Wendy decided to join the foreign exchange student program at our school so she's been in Japan for a while.

"Natsu!" Wendy yelled as she embraced me in a huge hug.

"I've missed you so much Wendy." I said as I hugged her back. "So how was Japan?"

"It was pretty good.... but Natsu pretty sure we can do this ‘rebounding’ thing after our meeting with the Heartfilia family." Wendy said as she let go of me. I nodded my head as we all entered the big mansion. Words could not explain how amazing this place was.

The parents left Wendy, the Heartfilia daughter, and me to go talk some business probably. I wonder what kind of deal they'll be making this time. It might sound clichè or whatever but I do like business... I'm not like most of my friends who actually don't want to take over their families companies.

"Hello I'm Lucy Heartfilia!" The Heartfilia daughter said. She looked just like her mom but younger. She was quite pretty actually.

"Hello I'm Natsu Dragneel and this is my little sister Wendy Marvell." I replied back to Lucy.

"Do you guys wanr go up to my room and maybe talk for a bit? Standing around is pretty boring." Lucy said. Wendy and I nodded. It is quite boring if I can't hear what our parents are talking about.

Lucy lead us to her room wich was about the same size as Wendy's. It was bigger than mine and of course cleaner. Not saying mine is a mess but it could use some organizing. "So do you know why our parents wanted us to meet?" I asked Lucy.

"No clue." She said shaking her head. "I normally know what my parents business meetings are about, but they wouldn't explain this one to me."

Wendy was sitting on a chair in Lucy's room smiling away. She knows exactly why Lucy and I had to meet up. "Spill it." I demanded Wendy to tell me.

"Naaahhh, I want Mom and Dad to tell you why you two have to meet each other." Wendy grinned. Lucy asked Wendy if she would tell her and Wendy wouldn't even give it up to her!

About an hour past and our parents called for us. Well I guess it must be time to head out. As Lucy left her room and got to her staircase she ran down them.... without getting a death glare by her parents!

"Natsu, Lucy, we need to bring you guys to the living room to tell each of you something." Mrs. Heartfilia said. We followed her into her living room where they sat Lucy and I across from them.

"So why did you bring us in here?" Lucy asked her mom. She was really curious about this. Her mom started saying somethings and then my mom helped explain some other things.... ending with our dads saying stuff....

"After a while of going to the same school and talking with each other we will be getting you two married."

"WHAT!?" Lucy and I yelled. We didn't sign up for this. I barely know this cute girl. All I know is she can crack some jokes and is way snarter than me in reading, Spanish, and English.

"Dad I don't even know her very much and we just met today." I said to my dad trying to keep calm.

"See that's why Lucy is now starting to go to your school and take most of her classes with you. Then you two can talk away and get to know each other better." My mom said cheerfully. I wonder how long they had this planned?

"I don't like this one bit." I heard Lucy whisper. I didn't either. She for a fact doesn't want to be stuck with some rich smart ass.... Well I ain't that bad but still! She doesn't know me and I'm not always the greatest person to deal with.

"Now Lucy you'll be starting school at Fairy Tail High next week. Since its the end of the semester you should be able to transfer your grades to that school easily." Lucy's mom said before Lucy left the room. I could tell she was pissed off.

"Mom, Dad I'll be in the car." I said before I left the room and got into their car. Moments like this made me wish I just brought my car with me.
