Before you knew it, autumn was already over and thus, winter came, which meant the end of the year is just around the corner. You were wondering if you could spend it with Shouto - not in a romantic way, of course, you guys were just friends. On one particular winter day, when you woke up and looked through your bedroom window, you saw a huge pile of white fluff outside. You smiled widely and wanted to make as many snowmans as possible. But firstly, you had to go to school, which made you kinda sad. I mean, who does like going to school? When you entered your classroom, everyone greeted you with a sincere smile. You smiled back at everyone and sat beside your desk. When you were about to take out your phone, someone sat in front of you. You expected that person to be Shouto, but you were wrong.
It was that "pikachu boy", Kaminari.

"Hey, I guess we never talked to each other, so I thought it was about time, huh?" he said, looking at you.

"I never actually talked to anyone besides Shouto" you chuckled. Kaminari looked nervous and you noticed a tiny blush spreading across his face.

"Oh yeah, sorry. I-I mean, uh... N-Nevermind" he stuttered "So, uh, you know, that situation with Momo that happened a while ago..."

"Oh, I already forgot about that" you lied. You thought about it yesterday, actually, and how Momo never really apologized for what she did.

"Y-yeah... Well, I just wanted you to know that I didn't believe her." he said. You looked at him confused.

"What do you mean?" you asked, raising one brow.

"I mean that I knew she was lying from the beginning. You look like someone who wouldn't hurt a fly, yet beat up a person"

"W-Woah, that's really nice of you, thanks" you said surprised and tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. You then noticed that Shouto just walked in to class, so you waved at him happily. He smiled at you and waved as well, but when he saw that Kaminari was sitting in front of you, his smile dissapeared and his hand slowly reached the pocket in his jeans. He looked a bit sad, which was new to you. You furrowed your brows with worry.

"Hey, is everything alright?" Kaminari asked. You nodded your head, as in "yes" and continued talking to him until Mr. Aizawa came and the lesson started. You couldn't focus for the whole lesson, because your mind kept coming back to Shouto's face when he saw you with Kaminari. Was he...jealous? No, there's no way he could be, why would he be?

When there was lunch time, you searched for Shouto and eventually found him next to a beverage machine.

"Hey, how are you?" you greeted at him. His face expression changed immediately as soon as he saw you.

"Hi, [name], I'm good, what about you?" he asked politely. You both kept the conversation going and decided to grab lunch togheter. When you both walked in to cafeteria, you realized it was packed with people and you might have trouble with finding two seats, preferably next to each other, since you didn't want to leave Shouto's company. Suddenly you heard someone's voice calling your name.

"[name]! Todoroki! Come sit with us!"
You both turned around to see Kaminari waving at you. he was sitting with Jirou and Tokoyami, that guy that had obsession with birds, apparently. You started making your way towards them, but you noticed Shouto wasn't going with you. You looked at him, confused.

"Come on, Kaminari is waiting for us" you said. Shouto was annoyed and clearly did not want to go there.

"I'll find a seat somewhere else, you go by yourself, since you like him so much." those last words felt like a bitch-slap to you. You didn't understand why Shouto was acting like that.

"Excuse me, what did you just say?" you said a little bit too loud. The whole cafeteria went silent and looked at you two. Shouto looked nervous and you could feel your cheeks turning red. Shouto clenched his fists.

"You heard me well, [name]" he murmured and left the cafeteria. You walked to Kaminari's table, really angry and upset at the same time. You could hear some people whisper and look at shoto leaving.

"What just happened?" Jirou asked surprised.

"I wish I knew too" you said and put your hand on your forehead.

After school was finished, you searched for Shouto, but couldn't find him anywhere. The boy hasn't spoken to you for a whole day. He didn't even glance at your direction. You wanted to talk to him as soon as possible. When you left the school building, you had a tiny hope you would find him sitting on the nearest bench, but he wasn't there either. You decided to go for a walk and ended up in a park that caused your whole friendship. Surprisingly, Shouto was there as well. He was sitting under the tree, with his knees up to his face and his arms crossed. His scarf was covering almost his entire face, the only thing that you could see were his eyes, filled with tears. You walked in his direction and sat next to him.

"You know, you're gonna freeze to death if you keep sitting here" you said. The boy smiled lightly at your not so funny joke.

"Okay, will you please tell me what is going on with you today?" you said. Shouto turned his head away from you.

"I don't know what do you mean." he mumbled. You moved a little bit closer to hear him better.

"You're not yourself today. Not the Shouto I know." Shouto sighed and fixed his scarf, so that it wasn't covering his mouth.

"I just... I don't know what it is... but..." he murmured "IhavethisweirdfeelingwhenIseeyouwithKaminari" he said, but you didn't understand a word.

"Okay, okay. Slow down, and repeat what you said." you chuckled. Shouto sighed again.

"I have this weird feeling when I see you with Kaminari... I don't know. I just feel like you don't care about me anymore"

"You dumbass, of course I care about you!" you said and punched him in the arm. You could hear a tiny "ouch" coming from his mouth. You stood up and offered him your hand.

"Come on, let's go and drink some hot chocolate" you said. When he reached for your hand and was right in front of you, he was way closer than you thought he would be. He looked away from you and blushed. Your cheeks were pink as well.

"And... remember I will always care about you. No one and nothing will ever change that. Okay?" you said quietly. Shouto looked you in the eyes and you felt your whole face heating up.

"Okay." he whispered. After that you both made your way to the nearest café.

None of you realized you were still holding hands. I mean, you did, at one point, but decided to ignore it. It made you happy and warm inside, you could feel that warmness especially in your heart. Even if you wanted to let go of his hand, it was doubtful that Shouto would let you, since he was holding you very tightly, almost like he never wanted you to go.

i tried to make it all cute n stuff i mean this whole whispering stuff and holding hands under the snowy tree
CUTENESS OVERLOAD but im a shit writer (or "writer" i guess) so it didnt work out
also i wrote this chapter a whiiiile ago and i thought i saved it as a draft but hey hey hey lucky me!!! it only saved to the timeskip point and all this cuteness was deleted i dont know why
