I walked away from the duo and over to my sweet ride. Paul and Dwayne stared at my bike.
"What?! I needed a bike, so I bought my own!"
"Alright, that'll be your story for now."
"You know where Hudson's Bluff is, overlooking the point?" David questions.
"I can't beat your bike." He says plainly.
"You don't have to beat me, Michael. Just have to keep up." David finished, revving his bike and running it down the stairs.
Paul, Dwayne, Marko, and I followed in hot pursuit.
We raced across train tracks. The boys hollered and Starr laughed from the adrenaline.
I could see the foam coming off of the waves from the cliff. I could smell the blood pumping in Michael's veins. I could taste the salty air on my tongue.
Michael was about to meet his fate.
