1 | Contest Winners

"Class I have a very important announcement," Ms. Bustier told her class of ninth-graders on Monday morning. Everyone instantly quieted and ended their conversations as they listened curiously.

"Our class has won a contest that will allow us to go to a remote island for a week! While we are there we'll work with the biologists and scientists working there and study the plants and animals on the island. We'll also get to be a part of exploring a new island, and may even help find a new plant or animal species!" The class started swirling with excitement when they heard "island trip" tuning out most of the other stuff their teacher said like normal teenagers.

"OMG! This is so exciting!" One brunette girl in the second row said to her friend next to her.

The girl next to her, who had midnight blue hair and bright bluebell eyes, sighed happily. "Alya! Maybe I'll be able to get closer to Adrien!" She whispered with excitement.

The brunette, Alya, laughed. "Maybe! It'll be cool regardless, though, right Marinette?" The girl didn't answer and instead just stared at her crush in the row in front of her dreamily. Alya shook her head as the boys in front of them turned around.

"This will be so awesome!" One of them said with excitement as he fiddled with the headphones around his neck.

His friend grimaced. "I bet it'll be great,  if my father will let me go."

His three friends all gave him sympathetic looks.

"I hope you can come, dude," the headphones boy sighed. "It won't be the same without you." Alya and Marinette nodded, the latter blushing slightly.

"Thanks Nino," Adrien tried for a smile. "I'll ask him tonight."

Miss Bustier cleared her throat at the front of her room and everyone else turned to face her. She gave them a mischievous grin and continued with her speech.

"Since this was a complete surprise, we had little warning and therefore just found out that we're leaving on Wednesday."

Everyone gasped.

"This means that we're giving you all day tomorrow off so you have time to pack. Also, I've already checked with all your parents and gotten permission for you to go."

At this everyone cheered and Marinette and Alya hugged each other in excitement. Adrien's grin split practically his entire face he was smiling so wide as he and Nino high fived and laughed. The whole room was buzzing as everyone made plans and dreamed about what lay ahead. That was until Miss Bustier interrupted by coughing loudly...

"I'm so happy to see you all so excited," she told them, smiling. But then her face changed into a much less cheerful expression.

"However, for now we must return to the usual schedule. Everyone, please grab your textbooks and turn to page 394" (if anyone gets this reference I will love you forever).

As the students reluctantly pulled out their ridiculously large textbooks, everyone returned to their usual Monday morning daze. Kim fell asleep, Ivan stared at Mylene, Nathanael drew in his sketchbook, Rose texted Prince Ali, Chloe painted her nails, Alya updated her blog, Nino rocked silently to music from his headphones- well, you get the idea.

As everyone else resumed their usual completely off task class activities, one bluenette was dreaming of the week  ahead and the cute boy in front of her.

And that boy happened to be dreaming of her, too. Just... her in a black-spotted red suit and mask. And he didn't know it was her. But whatever.

Either way, they were two love-struck teenagers. And little did they know, somewhere up above, an entire fandom was getting frustrated with them. Very frustrated. Perhaps, they just needed a little push...

I'll save that for later.

Not sure why, I can barely keep up with the two I'm already writing. Huh. Whatever.
