Chapter 4

I stare into the streets and see they're all empty. As I raise the stereo up, I recognize that the song playing is by My Chemical Romance. I listen and the song makes me feel calm and yet.. It also hits me with a pang of sadness.

Fuck.

I don't want to remember.

This is all making me remember.

"Hey, Johnny?" I hear Leah call me from the other room. "Yes, Sweetie?" I lazily call back.

We hold in our hearts the sword and the faith.
Swelled up from the rain clouds, move like a wraith.

"I think the baby is coming." Leah says calmly. I fall off my bed and run fast into her room. I see her smiling but panic is written all over her face. "Baby girl, Can you stand?" I go to her side and hold her hands.

She starts lightly laughing and smacks me in my arm. "Just get me to a hospital, Johnny."

And through it all, We'll find some other way.
To carry on through cartilage and fluid.
And did you come to stare or wash away the blood?

I anxiously stay in the waiting room. Once a doctor comes I immediately go up to him.

"Excuse me, But have you heard anything about Leah Dennis?

Spend the rest of your days, Rocking out just for the dead.

Well tonight. Will it ever come? I can see you awake anytime in my head.

The doctor looks at me sadly. Why is he making that face?

 "I can't really give enough information right now.. But I heard there was some difficulties with the baby. It appears that she may need a Cesarean Section."

"Thank you.. For your honesty."
I mutter silently.

Did we all fall down?  Did we all fall down? Did we all fall down? Did we all fall down..

From the lights to the pavement. From the van to the floor. From backstage to the doctor. From the earth to the morgue.
Morgue, morgue, morgue.

I wish I never remembered.

As I keep hearing the song, I jump into my seat hearing a car beep at me. I look behind me and see nothing there. Strange..

"Leah Dennis?" I widened my eyes realizing they finally called her name. I stand up and walk over to the doctor.

The doctor looks at me and opens his mouth to say something but nothing comes out. "I'm here for Leah. Did anything happen to her?"

Well tonight, Will it ever come? I can see you awake anytime in my head.
All fall down, Well after all...

The doctor frowns. "I have good and bad news." I stare at him. Oh no.

"C-Can I get the bad news first?" I say hesitantly. The doctor continues frowning.
