Chapter 1

What would you consider to be the saddest word to hold a lot of meaning to you? To me, Almost.
For example, She almost lived. He almost loved her. They almost survived. She was almost happy. You get the idea.

I looked up in my ceiling thinking back to all my bad decisions I have ever done in life. I then realize I have quite alot. I remember back into one of them, which happened not too long ago. It includes this guy I like. His name is Evan Fong.

Evan.. He's friendly and goofy as hell. Evan likes to be a prankster and sometimes doesn't like to show his emotions. Even though I personally haven't seen him face to face, I still like him for who he is. Evan is pretty average, He's 5'11. He has black hair and stunning brown eyes. They're pretty captivating if it was your first time meeting him. Well, that's how people who have seen him, described him.

I sent a message to him, pretty eager for a response but quickly realized he was still ignoring me. Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Jonathan Dennis. I'm 27 and I'm 5'9 ft. I'm pretty awkward but apparently I have a cool personality when you get to know me. I have a pretty weird laugh, as you can probably tell if you have ever seen my videos.

I sound like a teenage girl. What the hell is wrong with me. The guy I like is literally 22 and I'm old as fuck. I really need some sleep. I continue over thinking while still staring at my ceiling. I then think back to the recording session that literally just happened a few minutes ago.

"Hey, Delirious. You there?" I jerk back into reality realizing that Lui was talking to me. "Oh, uh, Yeah. I was just thinking. Sorry, what were you saying?" I then hear a slight snort coming from Lui's mic. "Nothing, but what's gotten into you?" I didn't respond. "Delirious, look man. I know we haven't talked in a while, but that doesn't mean you can't trust me" I start rubbing my temples. "Lui, it's about Vanoss." Lui didn't even sound surprised. "Okay. Continue" I was hesitating whether or not to tell him. "Please don't get weirded out. I have liked Evan for a long ass time. I think it was becoming obvious because he hasn't responded to my messages. For fucks sake, I even attempted to call him." Lui didn't say anything for a while. "How long have you liked him?" I then started to feel my cheeks to warm up. Blushing, Great. Not only am I 27 but also a teenage girl talking about their crush. Jesus Christ.

"I think when we were playing Dead Rising 3 together." I said. "Wow. Does anybody else know?" Lui asked. "Yeah, Luke knows. Also Nogla and Scotty." Lui didn't really say anything else. I guess he didn't really have much to say.

"Listen, I honestly think you should go for it. I think he might like you too. I don't think it's wrong to love a person. Who cares if you're the same gender, If its love, Then it's love." I could basically feel Lui smiling through the mic. "Thank you, Lui." Was all I could say quietly.

While staring at my ceiling, I realize how lonely I actually am. Without the exception of my dog, of course. Princess was laying in bed with me and she seemed pretty peaceful. I quickly and quietly get up towards my computer monitors. My video was still in the process of uploading so I just decided to let it be. I walked towards my kitchen to grab some sort of food. I then felt my phone to buzz in my pocket. I quickly grabbed an apple and reached into my pocket to answer the call.

I stared into the contact name that was calling me. *Hoodini is calling you* I answered it. "Hey, Delirious. You want to play Gmod with Me, Tyler, Scotty and Nogla?" I can't lie, I was pretty confused how he was talking to me like nothing ever happened. "Oh, um. I guess. Uh, just give me a moment. I-I have to check if m-my video is up yet." I stuttered. "Alright, Give us a call when you're done." I hanged up, not bothering to even say goodbye. I got my keys and jogged to my front door. Princess was still sleeping so I just went outside to get some air. I saw my breath as soon as I stepped outside. I continued walking and my feet brought me to a bench near a park. I sat in the bench and just looked up. It was still night so I could see the moon and the stars.

I opened my eyes. Huh? I don't know how long I was there because I then started to see the sun slowly rising up. Might as well go back. Shit! I forgot about the guys! I run back to the direction of my house. I bump into someone almost falling backwards "Oops, Careful there." I heard a person say. I snarl back in response "Look I'm sor-" I look at the person and my eyes widened.
