NOTE: I'm sorry if I can't provide a video for this tutorial because my computer keeps on freezing everytime I download a new program so again I appologize if I can only provide a text and photo tutorial, I hope that you will all understand thank you :) there will be a part two of this tutorial and on that part I will teach how to blend the colors of a picture using gimp

In this tutorial you will learn how to cut/ extract a picture using Gimp
1. Open the image that you want to edit
2. Click the path tool
3. Put anchors around the outline of your image. Connect the first and last dot/anchor whle holding down CTRL
4. On the tool option click { selection from path }
5. go to layer> create alpha channel
6. Press CTRL+I to invert the selection
7. Press CTRL + X to cut
8. go to select> none
9. Erase the remaining pieces of the background. Do it by picking a 1 pixel eraser from the toolbox
10. Save your image in any from that you want, but if you want to keep the transparent background save the image in a png form
