A month later, my mom and brothers were back from their vacation. My mom was in the kitchen cooking dinner. And my brothers were out with their father.
I haven't talked to neither Kyla or Stephen. I mean they did try calling and texting me multiple times. But they eventually got the hint, and gave me my space.
Stephen did text me once in a blue, to tell me about his day and that he missed me. But of course I would never reply back.
"____? Come in here for a sec." My mom calls.
I sigh getting up from my bed. Walking out of my room, I head towards the kitchen.
"Yes" I stand behind her crossing my arms. She turns around eyeing me, grabbing my arm she drags me into the living room. She sits us both on the couch, and adjects herself so she's facing me.
"Look, I know you've been here all summer alone working. But I wanted to surprise you. Everything is taken care of. I even called your job, and gave a two weeks notice. I want you to relax. So..me and Kyla planned for you to go to Barcelona to vacation with her" My mom smiles happily.
I couldn't believe my ears, my jaw drops and my eyes water. I move towards my mom hugging her tight. "Thank you. I love you so much." I sob. She returns the hug squeezing me tight.
Finally done with our moment, she pulls away slightly. "You leave tomorrow so go start packing. Remember to keep your passport safe. I love you." She winks.
I still couldn't believe this, I was actually going to Barcelona. Was this Kyla's plan the whole time? Or was this planned from the start?
Maybe this was a sign that me and Stephen were meant to be. I smile at her, and jet back towards my room. Getting my suitcase I start packing everything that I need, including some sexy stuff.
I definitely was planning to see Stephen. I wanted to see the look on his face when he first saw me. I wanted it to be a surprise though. After I'm finished packing my stuff, and double checking I sit on my bed. I grab my phone unlocking it, going into Kyla's text messages.
Bestie💖: Morning. I know your still not talking to us, but I hope your mom told you about coming here. Please take it into consideration. I miss you.
You: I am. And I'm coming..don't worry I miss you too.
Bestie💖: Oh, thank god. I can't wait to see you. I promise I'll take you wherever you want to go.
You: lol..okay. 😊
Bestie💖: I love ya! See you when you arrive.
You: love ya too. Night.
