You Have a Date?!

Maya's P.O.V 

I was running around the campus like a mad man. I couldn't find Mal or Evie and my date with Carlos was in 2 hours!

I finally spotted Evie sitting on a bench with Doug, hmmm, whats going on there...

"Evie!" I yelled running up to her "Thank god I found you!"

"Why? What's wrong May?!" She asked turning away from Doug

"There you are!" We heard from behind us. We turned to see Mal walking over to where we were "I have been looking for you, literally everywhere!"

"What's wrong with you?" Evie asked leaning over me and Doug

Mal slammed her hands on the table "Ben just asked me out on..a date" She huffed out

My eyes widened "Me too!" Wait. "Wait! That came out wrong! I meant Carlos asked me out, on a date" I said blushing

"EEEEEEPPPPPPPPP!" Evie shrieked shooting up from the lunch table "My OTP!!!!" She yelled at me. Then she turned to Mal "We can handle this. Bye Doug" She then snatched me by my arm, and started dragging me and Mal back to our dorm

"EEEEVVVVVIIIIIIIEEEEE!" I yelled at her as she tied me down to a chair

"Maya, you said you wanted my help, and I would like to give it to you with out getting my head chopped off" She said tightening the straps

"But you know I hate makeup" I complained crossing my arms "It makes me look more like my mother" I huffed

"May, relax, I know what I'm doing" She said pulling out a curling iron

"I know" I argued "That's what scares me!"

She rolled her eyes and got to work on my face. Ugh! This is not what I signed up for. About half an hour passed, and Evie was now shoving me behind a dressing curtain, and was finishing off Mal's makeup.

She wouldn't let either of us look in a mirror quite yet. 

No! No! NOOOO! Ugh! Evie left me behind this stupid curtain, naked, with nothing else to wear but this dress. Ugh! Why did I come to Evie again?!

I slipped the red thing over my head along with, a black jean jacket, and I slipped on my black combat boots.(  https://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=225616915). I stepped out from behind the curtain awkwardly. I hate dresses.

I heard a gasp, I turned to see Mal looking absolutely stunning in her dark purple and green dress. Then I glanced over and saw Evie having a mini panic attack.

"Oh. My. God." She said fanning her eyes "You both look amazing"

"Thanks Evie" I smiled

"Yes, I don't think either of us would be able to do this without you" Mal said giving one of her rare smiles "Your like my sisters"

"Don't worry, were gonna need all the family we can get if we don't pull this off" Evie laughed

"Agreed" I said

"Are you afraid of your moms?" Mal asked sheepishly

"Sometimes" Evie nodded her head

"Yeah, sometimes" I agreed studying my boots "Are you?"

Mal thought it over for a second "I just really want her to be proud of me, ya know? But yeah, she's my mom" She scoffed "I know she loves me, in her own way" She said biting her lower lip

"Like you said before" I said grabbing her hand "Were sisters"

"Alright, lets take a look at yourselves!" She clapped her hands and lead us over to a mirror. Well. I thought it was a mirror. Until I walked up to it, whoever was in there certainly was not me!

But if it was....I LOOKED HOTT! Yes. I did say hott. As is H-O-T-T HOOOTTTT.

Wow.

Way to get a big head Maya.

"Wow" I breathed out simultaneously with Mal

"Say it" Evie encouraged rubbing Mal's shoulders

"I look.." I trailed off

"Not hideous" Mal finished staring at her reflection

"Not, even close" Evie said with a laugh

There was a knock at the door, Evie smirked at us then went to open it. From the corner of my eye I saw Ben standing there with two helmets in his arms. That looks fun.

"Wow" He breathed out

"I know right!" I yelled at him jumping on the bed, only to quickly get swatted off by Evie claiming that I'll get wrinkles all over my dress.

"For the first time I understand the difference between pretty and beautiful" He breathed out

I raised my eyebrows at Evie, how strong was this love potion again? Oh yeah! Dude pronounced his love in front of the entire school, in the form of a song, all the while he had a girlfriend! So uh. Pretty damn strong.

"I hope you like bikes" He said offering her a helmet which she accepted

She gave us a look right before she left that kinda resembled 'I'm about to go all 'Thirteen Reasons Why' now, see ya!'.

We laughed and I yelled "Goodluck!"

Evie was about to shut the door, when a foot slipped through the tiny crack pushing it back open.

Then Carlos appeared leaning on the door frame with a red rose in his hand.

"Woah" He breathed as I got closer

"Woah yourself" I said ruffling his hair, that look really good actually

"Why thank you" He said opening up his leather jacket, and doing a 360 on his heel. I laughed at him. "I uh, didn't know wether to get white or red so uh, I just ya know, you wear red alot" Carlos said awkwardly handing me the rose

I giggled "Thank you, its perfect" I said placing it on my bed before heading back to the door

"Shall we?" He asked offering me his arm

"We shall" I confirmed raising my eyebrows at him

We were about five steps down the hall when we heard the door open again and Evie call out "Have her back by 10:00!"

Carlos released me and yelled back "Yes Ma'm!"

I laughed at him and lightly punched him on the shoulder. Here we go...

its 12:42.

I'm hoping to finish this book this week and publish a chapter each day.
