Maya's P.O.V

I was still buzzing from yesterday!

I have a date with the Carlos De Vil....

EPPPPPP!!!!

Tell anyone I did that and I'll murder you!

I had to find Mal and Evie. Or just Evie. I don't know what to do! I've never actually been on a date before. I'm screwed.

I checked the gardens, study hall, and the courtyard, before finally heading up to our room.

I walked in and saw Jane sitting on Evie's bed and gushing about something.

"Oh. Hey Maya" She said surprised to see me

I nodded my head in her direction muttering a 'hey'

I had to do a double take. Jane's hair was no longer short and mushroom cutish. It was now long and flowy.

"Nice hair" I said raising my eyebrows

"Thanks" She said practically blinding me with her smile. Blah. "I'm hoping this guy I like will ask me out now"

"Just cause you change your hair doesn't mean a guy will have a sudden interest in you" I said smiling sadly at her

"Ya but, this might catch his attention" She said returning the look

"True" I said ending the conversation

I turned my attention back to Evie and Mal. Oh boy, how to explain this...

I rung my hands together nervously and breathed out "So uh- how was your day?"

"Umm, OK? Whats up with you?" Mal asked sitting up in her bed

"Well you see funny story" I said tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear "So I was uh- with Carlos today and..."

"And what?" Jane asked listening all of a sudden

"Um- He kinda asked me out" I said bitting my lip to keep from smiling to big

"OMG MAY!!!!" Evie squealed jumping out from behind her sewing machine

"Wow" Mal muttered "I can't believe he finally did it"

"Finally?" I asked 

"Uh- duh" Evie giggled "Maya, he's been crushing on you since you two met"

"What?!" 

"Your clueless" She muttered retreating back to her sewing machine

"Well uh-" Jane said from behind me, with a weird look on her face "Congrats, I guess" She said the last part softly but I herd it

"Uh-Thanks" The whole conversation was filled with some unknown tension 

"Well, I gotta go so I'll see ya" Jane said walking out the door

"Ya, bye" I said seriously confused. I turned to the girls with a look of bewilderment "Was it just me, or did she seem to be sending me some kind of 'I'll kill you' message?"

"I don't know but look at the dark side" Mal said (wink, wink)

"Oh ya? And what's that?"

"You can so, take her in a fight" She said chuckling and looking back down at her spell book

"Your not wrong" I said looking at the door as if she was gonna reappear

Later that day I was sitting on the ground working on my sketch of Belle and Beasts castle, when Carlos walked into the room.
