But, not all stories are so forgiving. "Kiara, meaning light," he shot the girl a small smile, and her spirits lifted slightly. His features quickly turned precarious, "or dark," his now menacing gaze pierced hers and Kiaras stomach flipped, "depending on the context." He finished. He took a step closer, studying her like she was some sort of priceless artifact. Kiara froze, her stature proud and stoic even as her gaze trained on the rocky cliff face behind the boy. Her heart thumped quickly. She was frightened of him. His voice was soft yet laced with passive aggression - oddly enthralling at the proximity. But she definitely couldn't think of that. His mouth curved upwards into a curious smirk as those bright forest eyes finally met hers. Though peculiar things start to happen to Lilith also and she can't figure out what is happening to her. One moment her favourite thing in the whole entire world had been defying her mother and then the next moment she suddenly wanted to obey everything that her mother said.
