Theseus shot up, paranoia prickling up his spine. His brows furrowed as he stared at the window. He was 99.9% sure that he heard something scratching at it. He sat back against the headboard, his senses entirely awake. The dreadful feeling of being watched fell over Theseus like a blanket that he was being swathed in.

A tree swayed by the side of the house, it's branches scraping against the wall. Theseus felt a knot in the bottom of his stomach begin to form as he heard a soft thud coming from the room beside him. He swiveled around, shoving his ear up against the wall. The flowered wallpaper felt smooth against Theseus's cheek.

Theseus waited, listening for any sign of noise. His breathing became ragged as he heard another thud followed by a gasp. Theseus's eyes widened, pressing his ear harder against it. His mind whirred, trying to pin down who the gasp was coming from.

A wave of repulsion washed over him as he heard a breathy moan coming from someone that sounded suspiciously like his little brother. Theseus's nose scrunched up as he gagged. He stepped back and headed for the door to stop whatever Orion and his mutt were doing. All kinds of erotic pictures flashed across his eyes as he came up with all sorts of different things they could be doing. Theseus felt the bile rise in the back of his throat. For god's sake, the little kitten was only 15!

As his hand reached for the door knob, his heart stopped. A new scent mingled with the pine and dog smell of the room. It smelled- it smelled dangerous. Theseus slowly turned around, his mind going completely haywire. Thoughts of that d*mn werewolf with his paws all over Orion and of his father coming to take him back swirled around in Theseus's head.

Closing his eyes momentarily, Theseus turned sharply on his heel. His eyes scanned the room, searching for something out of place. Fear ebbed up him as he saw the flash of a shadow fall across the tree outside his window. It stroke a new fear in Theseus.

Theseus backed up slowly, reaching behind him for the handle. He needed to get out without drawing too much attention.

His feet slid slowly across the hard wood floor, and he prayed to the moon goddess or whoever the f*ck was up there to help him. He felt as if he was trapped and slowly suffocating.

Theseus felt his pulse quicken as he could hear the faintest of footfalls and a quiet swoosh of wings. He knew this wasn't paranoia. Theseus's eyes widened and he moved faster towards the exit, his heart beating rapidly.

A low growl sounded, and Theseus felt as if he had just died. He knew that he was going to die if he didn't get out quick. Ditching the idea not to attract attention, he turned on his heel again.

As a dark figure loomed over the window, Theseus scrambled to escape the small guest room. His fingers pulled on the nob frantically, pushing
the door as hard as he could. His vision became blurry as tears collected in his eyes. He was going to die. This was how it was going to end. A sad, pitiful life without meaning. Just when Theseus was about to turn everything around.

A soft sob escaped him as he jiggled the door knob in a craze, but the door was stuck. In the very back of his mind, he knew he needed to scream or make some noise so the werewolf Emerson and Orion could come save him.

Theseus stumbled, his shoulder connecting with the door handle. Theseus groaned in pain, holding it. As he tilted his head, he saw a dark figure use its long claws to break the glass. The creature swooped in, kneeling in front of the window sill.

A strangled noise gurgled from Theseus's throat as he lunged to the side as the cloaked stranger tried to pounce on him. Using his cat-like agility, Theseus sprung onto the bed, reaching over onto the nightstand to grab a weapon- anything, as long as it would cause damage...

He chucked the object that rested in his palm at the person who was creeping up to him. It bounced off his head, drawing a string of swear words from the monster's lips.

Theseus was surprised to find the object was a lamp, and in throwing it, the cord had wrapped around his wrist. The creature growled menacingly, the other end of the cord in his hand. He pulled on it, launching Theseus forward. Theseus tumbled off the bed and crashed to the ground. The huge man grabbed him by the neck of his collar, pulling him up. He wrapped the cord tighter around Theseus's hands to bind him. Theseus opened his mouth to scream, but no noise came out as he was thrown across the monster's shoulder.

He twisted and turned in the thing's inhuman group as it headed swiftly to the window. Theseus's fists pounded on his back, but the scrawny teen was nothing compared to the muscular hunk that was carrying him. As the creature crawled up onto the window sill, Theseus felt like his heart had risen to his throat.

Theseus whimpered trying yet again to make noise to alert his brother and Emerson. The thing grunted, squeezing Theseus as if to signal him to shut up or he would be squished to death. At that moment, it hit Theseus. He was being kidnapped. Finally, a bloodcurdling scream ripped out of Theseus's throat as the stranger swooped down, spreading its wings as it flew off into the night with its prisoner.
