It seemed like only yesterday that Amber was bustling tables for her very first job. Sure, it was a common and basic job—but if it put money in her pocket, she wasn't the one to complain.

Today, she was on cloud nine. Amber couldn't think of any other ways than to spend her days protecting Earth from both mystical, and physical threats.

Her and Stephen were the two most reliable sorcerers in Kathmandu; with Stephen being best at conjuring spells, and Amber being best at combat. She still had yet to learn about spells, and the mystic arts, but that didn't stop her.

Amber thought her life couldn't get anymore upside down then it already was.

Oh, but she was she wrong.

So wrong.

It started the day a Norse god stomped his way up the New York Sanctum steps, and asked for help. The two sorcerers were more than willing to help him, but when the god requested help on his journey, Amber knew she was in for something big.
