Say hello to your new pal, bloodsword. Welcome, AllanFisher, to Redemption Island. It's not a fun place but it is a bit of a blessing in disguise, isn't it?
After all, without Redemption Island you would both be eliminated from SmackDown: MadMike's Revenge completely, though the two of you being here might not necessarily be something I personally agree with. But now you've got a shot to get back in it.

Because this is the third and final duel.
Whoever wins this one gets back into SmackDown: MadMike's Revenge and will compete in Round 5. Whoever loses is out, gone, finished, finito. Done, dropped, and flushed like last night's dinner.
You will be given a sub-genre and some prompts and then you'll write a story. These stories will be judged by me and will follow the judging criteria listed in this book.

The sub-genre for this third duel is Lost World SF. Lost World SF, as you might know, is science fiction about the discoveries of, naturally, lost worlds or lost civilizations. They can also feature dinosaurs or other extinct creatures. See Tevun-Krus #39: Lost World (external link) for more info, if needed.
Your stories must be at least 1,500 words, but there is no maximum number of words.
