~Chapter Five~

~Anna's Pov~ 

I soon saw Zeref walking away from ten wizards all knocked out and badly hurt. "Mavis has all her memories in check" I spoke as Zeref looked toward me. He walked over sighing as my keys went into their pouch. "Then shall we go see Mavis together?" Zeref asked offering his arm as I laughed slightly wrapping my arms around his. We started walking toward the guild hall seeing Irene. She was smirking as Erza was laying next to Gray, both badly hurt. "Irene" Zeref spoke as the two mages looked this way.

"My Lord" Irene bowed her head slightly as laughed shaking my head. "You went easy on them" I spoke able to sense Irene's magic around us as Irene nodded walking over. "They seem to be much weaker than we was first informed" Irene spoke looking toward me. "Wait until they get more into the fight Irene, I promise someone here will answer your thirst" I spoke as there was a huge explosion not far from here. "Invel is also going to try and kill me, Zeref" I spoke putting my chin on Zeref's shoulder.

He only sighed shaking his head asking what I did now. I then explained 'he brought up her name' as Zeref understood I was one to honor family. He was the same when it came to people he cared for. "Irene, go deal with Invel" Zeref spoke as Irene replied with a 'hai' walking off as I smiled thanking Zeref with a giggle. "You are lucky you are my little sister" he spoke putting his other hand on my head. "Now I want you to promise me after this war I can take my daughter back with us" I spoke as Zeref nodded.

"I-I won't let you guys take Wendy" Erza spoke getting on her feet, taking deep breaths as Gray was getting up also. "Taurus" I spoke summoning the half man, half cow spirit in front of me. "Knock them out, be fast" I ordered as he rushed toward the two who were badly beaten and low on magic. Zeref and I started walking into the town as with every soldier here keeping everyone busy it was easy for us to get to the guild hall. We walked through the doors to see Natsu and Juvia on the tables being healed by Wendy.

Makarov was gone but Mirajane and Laxus were there in his place. "Zeref" Mavis spoke sitting on the bar with Cana in front of her. "Mavis seems you have caused trouble for Anna" Zeref spoke as I let go of his arm stepping forward making the keys go around me. "My Lord wishes to speak to your Master move or be moved" I spoke toward Mirajane and Laxus who were standing in front of me. "Wendy I know you want her alive but we have to fight her" Laxus spoke as Wendy ran hugging me. 

I froze looking down at her. "Please don't hurt them" Wendy shouted as I smiled toward her bending down hugging her. "I cannot promise Lord Zeref won't" I whispered as Zeref was behind Mirajane and Laxus hitting them both with powerful dark blast sending them to the walls trapping them there. Wendy's eyes widen shouting their names. "Anna you are showing to much weakness for my liking" Zeref spoke as I looked toward him pouting. "Meanie, of course I am going to be nice to Wendy" I spoke sticking my tongue out at Zeref who chuckled.

"I can see your work on our brother" Zeref spoke looking at Natsu as I giggled. "Down for the whole fight, he won't be able to wake up unless he awakens the demon within him" I spoke as Wendy was shouting at me to undo the spell and to leave Zeref's side. She was begging me not to hurt her family. She was happy here. I kissed her forehead and stood up as Cana had the Fairy Tail glitter spell around her left hand as she rushed at Zeref about to use it. I moved fast in front of him catching her fist using Capricorns magic to make her magic unuseable.

Her eyes widen in shock. "Stand down Cana, you are not as strong as your father Glidarts" I spoke throwing her into the wall as Mavis shouted her name getting on her feet glaring toward me. "First you take over Lucy's body one of us and then wipe everyone's memory of her and now use her body to fight her family!" Mavis snapped loudly as I looked toward the ground as I felt Zeref's hands on my shoulders. "They don't know the truth of what happened let her keep guessing" Zeref whispered in my ear.
