Andrea Wright's feet were tired, her body running on the granola bar she stole from the gas station a few miles back she needed something more, her feet hurt and her body was growing limp and she knew that if she didnt find somewhere to sleep soon she was going to end up passed out on the side of the road. Leaving Norman was the best thing she had ever done for herself, meeting Norman at the age of twenty the instantly fell in love and got married all within a year and everything was perfect. Until she ended up pregnant after being married for five years, that was when the abuse started. When Andy told Norman she was pregnant he grew angry they had agreed that they didn't want children but over time Andy knew that she longed to be a mother so she stopped taking her birth control pills, it was the same night she told him she was expecting that he threw her down the flight of stairs in their house and she lost the one thing she looked forward to most in her life. The abuse didn't stop after that night, Norman began drinking and would lose control and say nasty things to Andy making her self esteem plummet for the next five years.

Three nights ago Andy had enough, Norman came home drunk from his friends house and raped her repeatedly after she begged him to stop, but he didn't he just called her nasty names and told her she was worthless. Andy had made arrangements with a childhood friend who knew of the circumstances that if Andy could get to her house that she would welcome her into her home for ever, help her change everything in her life. So that night after Norman had passed out drunk on the floor Andy slipped her running shoes on and left the place she called home for the last ten years of her life.

Walking in the dark was no fun, but walking in the dark wearing shorts and a tank top in California turned chilly, Andy knew she should of grabbed a sweatshirt before leaving but she was afraid that Norman would of heard her. Seeing a set of headlights in the distance Andy stuck her thumb out in hopes that someone would pick her up and take her off of the dark road, but as the lights came closer she realized that the car was swerving all over the road and before she knew it the front fender nearly came in contact with her so Andy pushed herself  to the ground hitting her head hard on a rock

Andy stood up as the car continued to drive away , feeling a searing pain radiate from her temple she pressed her hand against her head and felt a warm liquid "Fuck" Andy screamed as she attempted to take a step, not only was she bleeding from the head but she could barely walk, having been a EMT in her past she knew that her foot was most likely broken but she needed to keep walking. Andy knew she needed to see a doctor but she also knew that she couldn't give any kind of information as she knew that Norman probably already filed a missing persons report.

Jax yawned as he drove down the road, he was tired, he was supposed to stay overnight up in Stockton at Diosa with a escort but he couldn't do it, every time he thought of trying to be intimate with anyone memories of finding his wife Tara dead on his kitchen floor would flood back and he couldn't think let alone be able to have sex with anyone. Watching from the distance as a car came barreling down the road Jax thanked his lucky stars that they took a turn onto another road, shaking his head knowing that they were probably coming out of Charming since it was around closing time at the hairy dog. Jax knew that he needed to change his ways with the club or it was going to cost him everything including his sons Abel and Thomas who missed their mother and grandmother dearly, Jax knew he didn't have a choice with his mother when he found out that Gemma had been the one to brutally murder Tara, but now the boys had no one. Wendy was no where to be found and both boys spent most of their time with Neeta the sitter

Jax squinted his eyes as he rode closer to a figure walking waving her hands in the air "What the fuck?" Jax asked himself as he downshifted gears to slow down. The woman could barely walk and one side of her face was covered in blood

"Are you alright darlin" Jax asked as he pulled his bike over on the side of the road

"I need to get to a hotel or something, I can barely walk" Andy said as she tried to see the man in the dark

"I think you need a hospital, let me take you" Jax said as he pulled his phone out to use some light and shine it against her Jax was taken back by the stormy blue eyes that looked terrified

"No! I can't go to the hospital, I just need to get to maybe a gas station to get some band-aids and then to a hotel I really need to sleep sir" Andy said as she shifted the weight off her bad leg

Jax wasn't sure what to do, in the back of his mind he knew this woman needed medical attention but on the other side of his head he knew he needed to be a gentle man and give her a place to lay her head for the night. Jax knew the clubhouse was full so he couldn't bring her there so he only had one other option

"I can do better, I have a medical kit at my house, I can stitch you up and I also have a spare bedroom you can use for the night. Get some rest" Jax offered

Andy looked at him, she didn't even know his name but this kind man was offering to stitch her head up and let Andy sleep in his house "I'm not sure sir, I could really just go to a hotel"

"Names Jax, not sir. Do you have money to stay at the hotel?" Jax asked

"Well no, but. I don't know I just need to get my head fixed so I can keep going. If you don't want to help then I will just--" Andy said as she started walking but fell to the ground and cried out in pain

Jax got off his bike and picked Andy up who tensed under his touch "I'm not going to hurt you" Jax said

Andy relaxed under Jax's touch just from the tone in his voice, there was something about him that made her feel relaxed "My name is Andy"

"Well Andy, lets get you to my house and cleaned up okay? I just need you to put this helmet on and hold on to me as tight as you can" Jax said as he took his helmet off and gently placed it on Andy's head and then gave her his sweatshirt to put on over the little clothes that she had on

Once Jax helped Andy sit on the back of his bike he took off hoping that this was the right call to make, knowing that in the morning he was going to have to explain to his sons why there was a woman sleeping in their house. But Jax also knew that he needed answers as to why Andy was walking in the middle of the night all battered and bruised like that.

For the first time in several years Jax allowed someone on the back on his bike other then Tara, but this felt nice. Andy was holding on as tight as she could and Jax felt her head rest in between his shoulders, his body relaxing against hers knowing that Tara would be proud of him that he was doing a good deed
