"I wanted to know if you wanted to protect the school along with Yuki and Zero," Kaien asked and I shook my head. "Why do you need me?" I asked him. "Well, you're not attending  any school since you refuse, so Yuki and Zero can guard the school when it's school," Kaien explained. "Why would I want that? I have other things to worry about," I said, crossing my arms.

"I though that you could get your mind on other things," He said. "I need to have focus on the reason I came here, and that is to warn you about some virus that has been spreading in the Level D vampires. They have been more stronger and more powerful," I informed him.  He nodded, and motioned Yuki to get out of the room.

"How did you find out?" Kaien said, sitting behind his desk. I sighed, before sitting down on the couch. "I have been out there, training to get stronger. I noticed when I almost lost a battle against some Level D vampires," I explained, and I could see dad clenching his fists. "Dad, I know that you hated that I left home, but you understand why I did it, right? Look at me, I don't have so much more left before I'll go mad," I said, feeling tears forming in my eyes. "My daughter is not going to end up a Level D vampire," Kaien said, locking eyes with me.

"Kaname will not let that happen," Kaien mumbled, and I could feel myself getting irritated. "I know I need him to make me into a normal vampire, but deep down I don't want that," I said, but mumbled the last part. Kaien looked up at me, shock written on his face. "(Y/n), you are not going to die, not when you just got here," He said, standing up and walking in front of me. "Kaname got you into this mess, and he is going to get you out of this, okay?" He explained to me, but I shook my head.

"Then what? Live a life as a vampire? Watching you grow old and die, and then I'll be alone by myself forever watching those I love die? That is not going to happen, dad!" I yelled the last part, as I stood up. Kaien stood still for a moment, before he pulled me into a hug. "It's going to be okay, right?" Kaien whispered, as I placed my head on his shoulder. I wrapped my hands around his waist, as I cried silently on his shoulder.

I'm scared, honestly. I don't want to watch my father die, or my friends. I don't want to end up alone, growing 'older'. Kaien unwrapped his hands around me, as he walked around the desk and sat down. "I have to talk to Kaname about the Level D vampires, so if you don't mind getting him for me," Kaien said, looking down at some papers.

I wiped my eyes, nodding at him He was a great father, but he always treated Yuki and Zero different from me. It's like he was expecting so much more from me. "Do you know where I can find him?" I asked, but Kaien shrugged. "Class is over, so maybe he is in his room," He explained and I nodded.

I walked inside the night class dorm and saw some students drinking red substance from a wine glass. Aido walked towards me, bowing at me. "I know I said it before, but sorry for the behavior earlier this morning," He said, standing up. "You don't have to apologize, it's fine," I said, as I gave him a little smile. "Do you know where I can find Kaname?" I asked him, and he nodded.

As I walked towards a staircase, I saw most of them staring at me. Everyone but a girl with long dirty blonde hair. "Ignore them," Aido said, not even looking at me. I nodded, as we walked into a hallway. He stopped in front of a door, bowing then leaving. I breathed, before I knocked on the door. "Come in," Kaname said. I opened the door, seeing Kaname behind his desk. The curtains were drawn and he was sweating.

"Kaname, are you alright?" I asked him, walking beside the desk. I could see his hands clenching under the desk, as he closed his eyes. "Do not worry about me (Y/n), tell me, why did you come here?" He asked, letting out a sigh.

"Kaien wanted to see you," I mumbled, placing my hand on his forehead. His forehead was burning. I pulled back my hand, as I saw more sweat on his forehead forming. "You can't stay here (Y/n), go to your father," Kaname said, furrowing his eyebrows. "You know I have been studying vampires ever since I was a little, and I am not dumb Kaname. You're hungry, and you know it," I said, as I began walking towards the door. "But I want you to feel the pain I went trough," I added, opening the door. I looked behind me, meeting his eyes.

They were not red-brown anymore, they were a mix between red and pink. My eyes widened, as I began running out the door. An arm wrapped itself around my waist, pulling me back. I tried clawing against his arm, but it didn't bulge. "You're not the one deciding things around here (Y/n), and I will not play your little game," Kaname said, moving my hair from my neck.

My breath hitched when I felt his hot breath against my cold skin. "You are a piece on my game, and you will play it my way," I heard him say, as I felt two fangs on my neck. I tried getting away from him, but his arm didn't move at all. "Don't try to resist (Y/n), you know it won't work," He said, as he sunk his fangs into my neck.

Soo what do you think? I know there are some big differences and therefore I would recommend reading the story one more time. Just so you won't get confused with the next chapter. I am very happy with this story, and I will continue writing.
