So I have been binding for less then a year. I tried with ace bandage the first few times because I didn't have a real binder. I had read warning about binding this way so I decided that I just wouldn't rap it too tight. Well that was an epic fail because it slid down and didn't really work at all. Don't use ace bandage. It can leave you with bruised or broken ribs if it binds too tight.
So then I actually found out about binders on YouTube. I got a prepaid Visa card and bought one off Amazon. So this probably was the best idea either, but they were really cheap. I got a side clasp binder. I didn't know what size to get at first so I got a size too small by accident. I kept wearing it and I got bruises on my ribs. I then went back on Amazon and got the same binder, only the next size bigger.
The binder constantly is uncomfortable because of the stiff material. The side also becomes unclasped when I am walking around school, so I have to go into the bath room to try to fix it. This binder is extra stress that I don't need. I'm only using this binder because I don't really feel comfortable without it.
Don't get this binder. Save up for a good binder like under works or gc2b. It is not worth saving money on the cheaper binder, when you could get bruised or broken ribs.
I'm in the process of saving up for an under works full length compression top. I just need to buy a Visa card and then I can get it.
Please get a well known binder. They are about 30 dollars maybe 40 with shipping but you will damage your body if you aren't careful with what you put on it.
Thanks for reading.
