"Allie will you please tell Anthony, Alexis, and Amanda dinner is ready?" My mum asked while cutting the ham she had prepared. Funny...mum never cooked ham except that one time when she announced she was pregnant with my siblings.

Skipping upstairs to my 14 year old brother Anthony's bedroom, I knocked on his door and said our unspoken password. We decided on it two years ago when I was 15 and he was 12. Knock, knockity, knock, knock, knooocck, knockity.

"Come in Als!" My brothers voice replied. Opening the door I looked around his Batman themed bedroom. For some reason Anthony wants to keep it that way even though mum and dad keep begging him to change it.

"Mum says dinners ready, and be prepared she's made ham..." I trailed off leaning against the door. "What are you making?" I asked curiously. My geek of a brother spun around in his chair and showed me his latest invention. Immediately, I regretted asking him. Once you get Anthony on a rant about his inventions, he will never stop.

"Crap, I really hope we don't get another sibling. The last was when mum told us she was having Amanda" Anthony ran his fingers through his fiery red hair. For some reason my brother ended up getting my dads hair while, I got my moms brown curly hair. People think we are actually friends because we don't look alike.

"Well, I've got to go tell Minion 1 and Minion 2!" I chuckled referring to my two younger sisters who were inseparable, even though Alexis and Amanda were 4 years apart.

Walking to Alexis and Amanda's playroom I hummed Panic! At The Disco's latest song, 'Hallelujah' in my head. It was really good and I was super exited to see them in concert for my 18th birthday.

I barged into the playroom and was immediately blinded by green. Yep. Alexis and Amanda were obsessed with green things. Green food, paint, stuffed animals, you name it. My 8 year old sister was bent over colouring a crocodile with a green crayon, while my 4 year old sister complained about Alexis 'stealing' the crayon.

"Mum, says it's time for dinner" I said, while picking at a chip of purple nail polish off of my recently painted nails.

Alexis looked up from her coloring page and pouted. "Aww, Allie do we have to?" She asked in a whining voice.

I put my hands on my hips and went into 'mom' mode. "Alexis Annie Silverman! You should know better than to talk back to your big sister." I told her. Sometimes my sister could be a B-R-A-T.

Alexis scanned me and continued to colour in the crocodile's teeth. An idea popped into my brain that I was sure the girls would love. "Okay! Here's what we are going to do, the first one who runs downstairs gets half of my dessert, and lucky for you Mum made her famous double triple chocolate layer cake!" I clapped my hands and turned on my heel.

Not long after, two heads raced passed me. One with brown curly hair, and the other with short red hair.

Alexis got their first, but Amanda pushed passed her and entered the dining hall first. "Manda, you cheated!" I heard the voice of Alexis whine. Amanda stuck her 4 year old tongue out and put her hands on her hips. "No! I got there first and you know what Mummy always says: "You get you get and you don't throw a fit!" The girls start fight and wrestling until dad came in with the cheesy potatoes, steamed rice, and broccoli.

"Alexis Annie and Amanda Audrey! You should know better than to wrestle, especially when it's dinner time." My dad shouted.

My sisters looked so sheepish, that I suddenly felt guilty. Coming forward I came into view. "Daddy, it was my fault, I told Lexi and Manda that whoever got downstairs first could have half of my dessert." I explained.

My father smiled at me. "Sweetie! It's okay, just remember not to bribe these two monkeys when it comes to dessert." With that he left and when into the dining hall.

Blowing out air, I arrived into the dining hall and sat in my chair, waiting for the rest of my family to join me.
