Chapter 11- Two Days
I continued running, feeling the wind in my hair when I remembered something; I stopped and looked up to the sky
The sun was hidden by the trees around me but it was still light-ish
I decided on what I wanted to do then turned around and started jogging back to the track

I had just made it back to the front entrances, and was slowly walking up the stairs when I saw something in the corner of my eye
Slowly I tried to look but without making it seem weird but when I finally got a good look whatever or whoever were once there were gone
“Hmm…”
I brushed it off and got to the front door
“Madam” the door man nodded to me and I smiled back
“Thank you” I said as he opened the door for me
He nodded once again and I continued walking to my room
****
I took a quick shower and changed my clothes to some lazy pants and a baggy top with ‘Daddy’s lil’ princess’ on it
I walked over to my closet and looked for the pants I was wearing the day I found that note behind the picture in the guest dining room
I was quietly mumbling to myself when…
“What are you doing?”
Shocked I jumped round and got ready to beat the poop out of anyone who was behind me
“Woah! Maddison, it’s just me” Mason held his hands up surprised at my reaction
I blinked then slowly moved out of my half defence half ninja stance and went back to looking
"What ya looking for?"
"Pants"
"They’re on your legs but they could be on the floor" he winked and I rolled my eyes
