chapter 3- the dinner

John looked at Alex expecting him to say something.

"You have five minutes, better hurry it up." He rolls his eyes.

Alex huged john in a tight embrace

"john i know i havent been the best of boyfriends but todays our anniversary and ive been planing for months im so sorry so i got u this present and i would like to take you to dinner tonight."

Alex pulls out a turtle from beind his back and hands it to john

"Fine."

He takes the turtle and smiled to himself.

"In still mad at you though." He looked down and played with his turtle smiling.

Alex smiles and kisses laurens. "I love you ill see you at seven."

"Mhm."

He closes the door and rolled his eyes.

"I shouldn't be mad at him. I love him. He's loyal. He's true. He wouldn't do anything to hurt me." He smiled and nodded to himself.

"Look at what Lexi gave me!" He smiled and showed the sisters.

They all said "aw"

Alex runs home prepareing for the night he pulls out a little box and stuffs it in his pocket "this will fix everything"

*time skip to that night*

John was ready at the Schuyler's place and waited for Alex to pick him up.

"No sex mkay?"

"Peggy! John isn't gonna want Jeffersons sloppy seconds!"

"ANGELICA!" Eliza yelled.

"Nah no sex for me." He laughed at the sisters.

"The little bitch is lucky if he gets a make out session at the most."

The sisters laugh.

Alex pulls up in a black limo wearing the suit laurens gave him

" wow you look handsome " alex gushes

"I know. You gonna open the door for me or?"

Alex rushes to open the door. He blushes as he looks a laurens smile. They get in and drive to the resteraunt.

"Wow such a gentlemen." John says sarcastically.

"Table for two please"alex asks the waiter when they get inside. They sit down and start to order.

"Ill have the clams please"

"I'll have the steak, thanks." John smiled at the waiter. Once he left he looked at Alex,

"wow. Quite surprised you didn't cancel dinner on me!"

Alex looked super ashamed

"sorry"

"well i have a suprize" alex got down on 1 knee...

"john laurens will u marry me"

"Alex..." At that moment a million thoughts rushed into his head.

"I-"

He had no idea what to say.

"Okay." He nodded.

At that moment he didn't give a shit about all of Alex's problems. He just wanted to be his. And only his.

"I will." He smiled.

Alex gave john the ring it was a gold band with green emeralds embedded in it

"i love you".

At that moment Jefferson stormed in to the room yelling "ALEX".
