35: That Awaited Gift!

Sanyukta's pov..

I can't wait for you Randhir..to wish you a very happy birthday, to give you that special gift you always waited from me!
Today when I look behind, I still find the day I was anxious on our suhagrat. I was in a dilemma to trust my life or not, give it a chance or not for I was completely broken, shattered or god knows how to describe what I felt at that point...may be devastated would be an understatement..but you made my life beautiful, my breathes even...It was you who gave me all those feels of love. Thank you Randhir...thank you!

Randhir soon came in the hall where everyone welcomed him with greetings, yet his eyes fell on his life at first who was standing in the middle of the crowd.

Randhir's pov
I smiled at everyone yet my eyes were on her who took my breathe away. Clad in a golden yellow saree and a pinch of vermillion and a diamond necklace, she defined elegance. Her eyes shined with happiness as I reached her avoiding the crowd without faking attitude. She dazzled like a sun beam in a clear blue sky. The happiness of my life - Sanyukta.

"Tum bahot pretty lag rahi ho...!", he managed to compliment me finally as the crowd was not letting him reach me. Media, socialists, and clients were unavoidable for him, I know. Yet he managed to reach me.
"Ap ne mujhe dund kaise liye..main toh us bhir mein dikh nahi rahungi sayad?", I could stop myself from making that statement.

"Tumhe toh mein hazaron ki bhir mein bhi main pehechan lunga!", he said.

"Kiyu?", came a blunt reply from me like an idiot.

"Because I love you..!", his reply gave me thousand feels.

Soon the party went on full swing, dancing singing took its place. But soon I approched the DJ.
"Can you stop the music please..!"

He immediately followed my orders.

"Can I have your attention please everybody?", I soon found many faces turning at me at a spree including Shekhawats, Randhir and Parth especially gawking at me.

"Randhir...a wish is always special...but I know a gift brightens our day! I am blessed to have somebody like you, somebody who has all of me. I won't promise you big, but I won't let you face all odds alone too. Hum humesha sath rehenge till death parts us! I know I have been bad at confessions...but this is something for you!"

Cheerings and applauds brought me back to my senses, when I found a mesmerised soul looking at me with teary eyes and another soul burning into ashes. I tried neglecting the later though. Soon Randhir ran towards me hugging me in the process.

"Thank you Sanyukta! Your voice is so beautiful...", he placed a kiss on my temple saying, "Thank you for this special gift, for fullfilling my wish. Love you wify"

"Love you paati...!", our giggles filled the air without knowing what was forthcoming.
