30. How Could You?

The next morning we were having a Sunday bunch. Randhir too joined us at the breakfast table.

"Sarah..green tea lana and bring oats for me!", Randhir ordered softly while Sarah quickly went up to follow his orders.

"Sanyukta news chalana please...!", Randhir had a habit of watching news every morning at the breakfast table.

"Sure...", I happily took the remote and instead of tv played video option.

"Maine apse kaha tha ki yeh kaam itna easy nahi hoga! Randhir sir ab har kaam check kar rahe hai aur sath mein...woh memsahab bhi toh hai...we can't do this now.

Tum bas woh karo jo maine kaha hai! Monday tak blueprints ready ho jayenge. So just steal them and sell it to our competitors. Mehta's are offering us 60 crore for this blueprint. Sanyukta ne kaam hi aisa ki hai! Pehle we were getting 40 cr. Paisa se zaada yeh kaam karke toh us Randhir toh takleef pahochai jaa sakti hai! And I love to do that....ha ha ha!"

The screen flashed their faces specially the one who was the main culprit. Everybody stood up from the table shocked.

"Mom....?", Randhir's eyes turned blood red. I have never seen him this angry before. His eyes were red in pain and angony. A tear escaped his eye.
"How could you, Mom? Kaise kiya apne aisa! Woh bhi apne h bete k saath?"

"Apna beth...my foot!", Renuka thrusted the fork on the table. "Tu aur mera beta...chii! Sautela hai tuh... Us Nandini aur Harsh ka beta hai tuh! Mere nah tu kabhi tha aur nah hoga...! I just hate you. Aur tuh larki...", she pointef her finger at me in anger and spatt venom, "Tu bahot pachatei gi...Randhir ko bachane se pehle khud ko bacha lena!"

She was about to speak further when papaji slapped her hard infront of everyone.
"Tumhe kya maine isiliye is ghar me lekar aaya tha ki tummm..... chiii! Renuka ek achi biwi nah sehi toh kaam se kaam ek achi ma hi ban jati.. kaha meri Nandini k vichar aur kaha tum???, papaji took out the phone quickly and dialled a no.

"Mr. Diwan please send a jeep quick to our home with an arrest warrant. Fast!", he ordered while Randhir looked at him bewildered.

"Papa nahi...! Don't do this!", Randhir pleaded but papaji was in no mood to listen, "beta isne jo business mein kiya that's a crime and jo zehar tumhare andar iska h...she deserves this!"

Harsh papaji glared at Renuka mummiji while she looked in anger and threw a disgusted look at us.

In few minutes police came and arrested Renuka maji despite of number of pleadings from Vidhushi and Randhir.

"Ap ab bhi unhe saaza nahi dilana chahte?  par kiyu?", something pushed me hard to ask him this.

"Kiyuki maine unhe kabhi sautela nahi samjha..! Aur Vidhushi bhi shock me hai...uske liye I wanted not to take this in a legal way!", he replied with teary eyes while I thought what a man he is. Papaji is right, Nandini ma must be like him - a gem.

I quickly hugged him like a teddy. He too crawled himself in my frame. The entire night I laid beside him hugging him tight enough.

So it was Renuka... the traitor! Harsh took the right step as this people never change. But what about Parth...he is still a big worry for Randhir..! Next update will be soon with a leap of 15 days.
