"AHHH MUDZ, THERE'S A WHALE ATTACK!!" I screamed in my sleep.
"Ohhh shut up," Murdoc pushed my half-asleep body off of him and rushed into the camper. "Russel. Russ. RUSS. RUSSEL!" Murdoc hollered.
    "What, man?" Russel sleepily asked.
"TURN OFF THE FUCKING WHALE NOISES BEFORE I SHOVE THAT CD IN YOUR MOUTH, YOU WHALE!" Murdoc  demanded of Russel. Oh no. The ground vibrated. The earth quaked. Russel was standing up and was very angry. He grabbed Murdoc by the throat. Just before a crime was committed, Noodle jumped between them.
"If you kill him, no show tonight, no money!" She yelled. Russel released Murdoc and Murdoc ran outside and back into the tent.
"Eh I showed him who's boss. Didn't I?" He asked.
    "Uh...sure, love," I humored him.

The crowd went wild as we stepped out onstage. The bright lights were blinding. However, it was great to see them again. I smiled as the crowd cheered.
Finally, my life was good. Murdoc was mine. As Murdoc played the first few chords of Feel Good Inc, I felt the adrenaline rush. Being onstage again was great. Murdoc and I had agreed to keep the relationship on the down low. We didn't want the news of us being together to overshadow the news of the new album we were coming out with in the near future.
We sounded amazing. Song after song, we kept the energy alive. The crowd looked in awe of us. For the first time in a year, I felt powerful.  Singing was my passion. I loved this band and everyone in it. I'm so glad Murdoc hit me with his car. I loved that man. Always have and always will.
The show had come to an end. It was sad but I guess all good things must. We all headed backstage and packed our things back into the bus. To celebrate, the band went out for pizza. We went to a small pizza shop with checkered floors, small dirty bathrooms, and a jukebox that played great 80s music.
Russel ordered three pizzas for himself. Noodle ordered one pizza with no sauce or cheese; just anchovies. Murdoc and I just got a pizza with half pepperoni and half cheese. We all sat and talked about how we missed each other and how tonight's show was amazing. Mid- meal, Murdoc and I headed outside for a cigarette.
"You did so good tonight, D, baby, " Murdoc smiled.
"So did you. And once our album is out, everyone will know about us," I smiled.
"Mhm. We gotta be careful until then...but a kiss wouldn't hurt," Murdoc grinned and pulled me close. As our lips met, there was a bright camera flash. We looked over to see who had taken the picture. The camera was lowered to reveal the one and only, Paula Cracker.
"Shit," Murdoc murmured as the evil woman grinned with malice.
