Throughout the ride he was singing the songs that randomly came on the radio. And he wasn't the best singer I have ever heard, but it lightened the mood throughout the car ride to the empire. Through the traffic that we were stuck in we finally arrived at the building.
The building was oddly shaped, the front and the back of the glass building was curved, I was assuming because of the air resistance. And above the building was some sort of symbol it sort of looked like an A but with a few extra lines connected to it. He escorted me all the way up to Jerry's offices. When we arrived James nocked on the overly large wooden doors, then we heard a deep voice saying to come in.
"Mr. Williams, Ms Cadwell is here to see you."
"Thank you, you can let her in. And you can leave, do whatever else you need to do." He flapped his hand in the air motioning for James to leave, as if he's nothing to him. I smiled at him as he took one last look at me before closing the door.
"So Ms. Cadwell I am so grateful for your to take the offer. Simply because I don't want someone like you to be a waist of potential." He smiled pleasantly at me.
"Well thank you for the offer, because I was growing worried about the teaching areas that I signed up for." I chuckled nervously.
He walked around his large desk, and sat down in his leather seat. He motioned me to set in the seat in front of his desk. Which I had done so, but I had a feeling that now it's serious business.
"So the thing is about this job, I don't want any negative things that your involved in on the internet or anything, do you understand?" His grey eyebrows were up, showing the creases in his forehead. And now he's not all smiles, so now you could see the permanent creases from his nose down towards his frowning lips.
"I understand." I spoke clear and loud just so he doesn't have second thought's about me.
"Good, next this is common sense but no making deals with other businesses without speaking to me first. Don't make any decisions without telling me first, got it?"
"Got it." I looked him right in his faded out grey eyes.
"You seem like a trustful person." He looked me back right in the eyes.
"Thank you sir." I smiled for half a second, and I wiped it away just as fast.
"But I can't trust you just yet." He leaned back in his seat.
"I understand sir." And I leaned back in my seat.
"You are awfully good with meeting's like this." He crossed his arms over his grey suit.
"My parent's are mangers, they do there job twenty-four-seven. So I can manger to be serious like you." I smiled, and he smiled back.
"I got you a hotel room not to far from here, your staying there for tomorrow. Than I'll discuss what your first project that you have to do, got it?" He raised his eyebrows awaiting for an answer.
"Yes sir, and thank you for excepting me. I'm more than grateful for this." He shook his head in approval. He lead me out of his office and called for James to take me to my hotel room for the night.
When I had entered the room that Mr. Williams is paying for me to stay in, it was huge. It almost looks like a penthouse, I'm only one person. I didn't bring my whole family or something. First I saw was a big living room the wall color light blue, and two large windows from floor to ceiling. Then there was a large leather grey couch, with two small white tables on each end of the couch. In front of the couch was a glass coffee table with gold colored metal legs. In front of the coffee table hanging on the wall was a ten feet by twelve inch TV.
Then there was a wall separating the living room and the kitchen. The kitchen had white walls with black cabinets, and a black refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, oven, and microwave. There was a Island in the middle of the kitchen the counters including the island was white marble.
Than down a hallway that was next to the kitchen was a three doors. Two on the right and the other on the left. I opened the first one on the right and it was a large, there was two sinks with a mirror reaching end to end of the counter. And further down there was a Shower that could fit five people. And beside that was a large bathtub that two people could be sitting right next to each other.
The other room was a guest room with a queen size bed and a ten by twelve TV stood in front of the bed.
I went in the last room it was the masters room. There was a king size bed that was on top of a marble platform. The platform was about a foot high form the main floor. There were was a large window on each side of the bed. And a yards away from the bed was the wall and there hung another large TV.
On the right side of the master's lead another room, which was the closet. It looked about the size of the guest room. And on the left side was the bathroom, everything in there including the room was twice the size from the guest room.
Did he really have to get me this big of a room? But the bed sure did look like it was yelling at me to go get into the blankets and close my eyes. So I did just that.
