The Death Eaters led the Aurors to an abandoned ware house located on the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn.

"Mister Black, I need your expertise. You know these people well, yes?"

"Mmhm. Better than I'd like to." Sirius chewed on the inside of his mouth, as he studied the outside of the building and he could have swore that he heard Bellatrix's insane cackle from within as if she were doing two things: announcing their arrival and inviting him in for a little game of tag.

"How many do you think we're dealing with?"

"Ten to fifteen. Perhaps more. I do know that they've actually managed to recruit recently."

Patrick sighed hard.

"Think of this lot as the Ultimate Anti-Auror."

He grinned. "Ahhh. Now that makes more sense!"

"Wot?"

"That you're a hotshot cowboy...you play dirty."

"I have to. They want my head on a silver platter! They've about as much love for me as I have for them...family or not, I hate them and all they stand for and they know it."

"Does Liesel know?"

He nodded. "Yeah."

Then, they heard Bellatrix's voice call out, "MARCO...."

"Fuck," Sirius muttered. "They can obviously see us."

"Was that for you?"

He ran his tongue over his teeth and clicked his tongue. "Yeah," he said so slowly that it drawled.

"AWWW....COME ON! MARRRRCO!"

"Answer her."

Sirius looked to his left and nodded, then pointed his wand to this throat: "POLO, YOU INSUFFERABLE BITCH! YOU'VE GOT A FUCKING BOATLOAD OF NERVE FOLLOWING ME HERE!"

"AWWW, COME ON PUPPY! IT'S JUST BECAUSE WE LOVE YOU SOOOO MUCH!"

Sirius rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Yeah, yeah..."

"We..." Patrick mused...

"Yeah, you caught that, did ya?"

Patrick grinned. "Yes, I did."

"COME ON, BELLA! I'M ON MY BLEEDIN' HONEYMOON! I'VE GOT NO TIME FOR GAMES! THIS COULDN'T WAIT!?"

"WE WERE RATHER DISTURBED THAT WE ALL WEREN'T INVITED TO THE WEDDING!"

"YOU WERE THERE," Sirius yelled out. Then his blood ran cold and he turned toward Patrick. "Bobbie," he whispered. "You've men in the office yet, yes?"

"A small contingent of four? Why?"

"Fuck! We have to get back to your office! They've not come for me..."

"Oh noooo...." The man disapparated, grabbing Sirius' arm.

Sirius and Patrick, armed to the teeth and with duel wands brandished, they flew the corridor of the many office doors and silently landed at the office door.

The door swung open and Patrick held out a mirror and scanned the interior walls in both directions before walking in. He pointed Sirius in one direction while he took the other; the office appeared to be deserted. They strained to listen for movement, or anything else and their feedback was only silence. "She may not even be in here," he whispered.

"What's that you lot say, dimes to dollars, she's hiding...I told her to stay put."

"It could take hours until we find her...she knows this building like the back of her hand."
