"Goodnight,mama. Goodnight,papa." Amelia greeted her parents as she headed to her bedroom.
" Goodnight, Amy" her parents called out using her nickname.
Amelia sat on her bed getting ready to sleep when she heard a loud scream followed by a bang.
Amelia was terrified as she slowly made her way downstairs, only to be faced with her mom's corpse with a gaping hole in the middle of her forehead.
"Mama!" Amelia screamed out.
She turned around to see a man with a black ski mask.
"Hey look,Bon. It's a little girl." The man spoke with a rough voice.
Amelia looked around and saw her father, she sighed in relief.
" Papa, who are these people?" She asked as she ran towards him.
"Amelia, stay right there, don't move." Her father spoke in a serious tone.
Her father used her full name, so she knows to take him seriously, but she was still too young to know what was going on and what to do. All she knew was that her mama was gone, and these were bad guys.
A man to her right grabbed her arm and covered her mouth. Another man went beside her dad and put a gun to his head.
The man with the gun to her dad's head said, " If you struggle, I'll shoot your daddy over here."
With those words, she settled down went with the man. He put her inside a van and she didn't struggle, but she heard a gun shot from her house anyways.
