Childhood Best Friends

Resolved Problem

In the previous chapter, Max gets hurt because he was lied to. His friendship with Halston can move further although Josh might come in the picture. Allie and Max become friends. 

Siblings always fight and eventually they resolve their problem, and it's simple. Max eventually becomes good with his siblings. 

A week later...

{ Max's P.O.V } 

I feel really bad for punching Adam. Maybe I've been overreacting, I should go and apologize to them. And let them explain 

I'm on the way home driving when I see Halston, and so I start slowing down, but then I notice he was walking with someone home. I thought it was Her brother, but I saw Josh. So I drove really fast hoping she didn't see my car. A few seconds later, she texts me saying 

"Were you the one who drove really fast just now?" 

I ignored her text. I can't be jealous of Josh. Halston and I are just friends, I like her, but it's not mutual. 

When I arrived home Adam and Lex were sitting on the couch.

"You two, we are going to talk, no more lying." I say 

"Understood." they both say 

"We didn't tell you because we didn't want you to worry about us, we know you love us and you don't want us to get hurt." Lex says 

"When we brought up what if we were in a relationship, you said you would get mad." Adam says 

"I was a kid then!" I say 

"Thats why we told you when you were older." Lex says 

"But you guys kept it a secret, thats what bothers me." 

"we know. We're really sorry." Lex says looking down. 

I sit next to her and give her a hug 

"You don't have to apologize anymore." 

"NO more secrets, we promise." Adam says 

"You guys better." "But if i find out Rhys hurts you Lex or Jessica hurts you Adam, I wont hesitate" I say 

"We know brother, thats why we love you!" Adam says and we all hug as a group 

"Finally! you three kissed and made up!" dad says with his hands on his waist 

"Dad!" we all said at the same time. 

*Ring Ring 

"Halston's calling you." Lex says handing me the phone 

"She can wait, I'm still bonding with you two." "sorry for punching you again" 

"It's alright!" Adam says 

for 4 hours the three of us were just talking, eating, laughing, and bonding. I missed it, even though It's only been a week. It was 7:00 and we started eating mom's cooking, which is the best! 

After we all ate, Mom and Dad went up to their room to sleep. Adam and Lex did to, to do their homework. I stayed down and Helped the maid clean up.

After all errands, I check my phone and see 4 missed calls by Halston and 3 text messages saying 

"Hello?" 

"Is everything okay?" 

"Max, pick up your phone!" 

And then 3 missed called by Allie and 10 text messages, lets just say those messages were a bunch of my names. 

I called Allie back
