Quaza Pov

"Quaza wake up, it's time for you to get up." Deadlox said as a wake up to him yelling at me. I groan as I rub my dog ears. "Five more minutes.", I say pulling the blanket over my head. I hear Red sigh and say, "Don't make me come up there." I shot up knowing that means her jumping on my bed. "I'm awake, I am awake.", I say pulling the blankets off. I get out of bed and go to my closet and put on a green t-shirt, a black hoodie, and camouflage jeans.
I grab a gray and blue hat and slipped on my red converse. I throw open the door and start to run down the stairs to the main tree house in our little 'home'. It basically is a bunch of small tree houses on one big tree.
We've lived here for 6 years purely because when we were 8, our village was burned down by humans for no reason but the fact that they hate hybrids for no reason except that we're different, and that scares them, so they call us evil to have an "acceptable" excuse to exterminate us like vermin.
I open the door to see my two cat hybrid friends on the couch. Red turns her head to see I have entered the room and smirked. "She's awake!" Red says as she pounced on me and I fell backwards on the wood ground. I grunt a little at the sudden burst of pain.
"Red, get your cattiness off of me!" I yelled close to her ears. I was getting bored of this happening every time I wake up.
"Ow not so loud Quaza." Red whimpered. Ops, I keep forgetting that she is a cat hybrid even though I have lived with her for 6 years.
"Sorry I didn't mean to." I said as I get up and sit in a chair next to Ty. I slouch down in the chair and put my hat on. I yawn and get up to go to the kitchen for something to eat. I open up the cabinets to see if we still have the bread from last week. Nope, we have absolutely nothing to eat.
"Where is all the food?" I asked turning to look at them.
"We ate it all, duh." Ty said in a mocking tone. I gave him an unamused face and put on my beanie. I sigh going to the front door and grabbed my backpack.
"Whatever, do you guys want anything else while I'm out?" I say putting the bag over my shoulder. I turned to them to see them thinking in their chairs.
"Can you get me a new book." Reds says looking at me with her cute cat eyes. I let out a deep sigh.
"Sure, do you want anything Ty?" I say facing him now. He just shrugged his shoulders. I turn to the door and open the door.
"No, not really." Ty said as I roll up my sleeves on my hoodie.
"Okay," I say opening the door, "See you guys soon!"
I run out the door and slid down the tree and hop of it. I start a light sprint towards the closest town I slow down to a walking pace when I am about a half of the way there. I look up seeing the sun rays coming thorgh the leaves. 'Maybe I should come here later to sketch this' I think to myself. Suddenly I hear a stick break and I look around me to see rustling in a bush.
I turn around to see a person behind me. At first I want to scream but stay calm and look at the person again. He has brown messy hair, black sunglasses, a gray jacket with matching pants, and a long blue cape. He just looks at me with an friendly expression at me as a I return it with a sigh.
