March 3rd 1945
John Hatchket was a Fearless, Brave, Confident pilot without a care in the world. One day he was put in a squadren tasked with scouting out and clearing the way for a brigade of Allied troops advancing to the Western front. He thought nothing of it. He thought it was just any other ordinary mission. But he was mistaken.
March 9th 1945
It was 4:36 John and his partners, William and Joseph got on the plane and started flying. William was the complete opposite of John. He was a complete wimp. And ironically scared of heights. Joseph was just plane stupid nothing else to it.
When they got into the air there were 24 other planes. John, William, and Joseph were in a
Douglas A-20 Havoc. It wasn't a very nice day to fly. It was very foggy and you could barley see. But John was a very good pilot.
ONE HOUR LATER...
John's Squadren reached the destination. They couldn't see anything. Then they flew out of the fog. They saw something that they would never forget.
A whole division of Axis soldiers! Suddenly they started getting shot at by AA guns. One bye One each one of the planes got shot down. John could hear the screams of pain from the other pilots and crew.
"We need to turn around now!" Screamed William.
Then suddenly the left wing got shot off. They started spiraling out of control!
"Hold On!" John Screamed as William and Joseph Screamed in fear.
Then Joseph jumped out of the plane with his parachute. John watched as the AA guns tore him apart. William screamed some more. John desperately tried to get the plane back in control but it was no use.
The plane crashed 1 miles away from the division. The allied brigade got slaughtered by the Axis troops.
FOUR HOURS LATER...
John awoke to the sight of William with plane debris sticking right through his gut. He was dead. John started crying. But he knew that it wouldn't help him survive.
He surveyed the crash for any useful items that he could use. He found a Colt/S&W M1917 revolver. He also found some bullets for it. Everything else had burned up or exploded.
Then he heard dogs and saw flashes of light. They were looking for survivors! He started running farther and farther into enemy lines. He encountered a village. Or more like the remains of one. It was torn up by artillery.
He started started exploring the village. What he saw was truely horrifying. Dead bodies blown to peices. Men, Women, and even children, He was about to puke.
