One of the things that I'm always saying or thinking about is being on my own. To me, it's something that most teens think about. Even though, adults always say " we'll wish we were a kid again".
I believe that but at the same time, they make us ready to be on our own. Why? Because you don't have to worry about being told what to do. You don't have to worry about dishes. You don't have to worry about much.
Bills, maybe that's why they say we'll want to go back but if you have a good paying job then that's not something you'll have to worry about. You can pay all your bills and still have extra.
Being " on your own " has a lot to do with responsibility. Of course you'll want to be a kid again when you don't like responsibilities. Bills are one of the things that go under that category. So does laundry.
However, I'm not trying to say I want to grow up fast. All I'm trying to say is that our parents drive us to want to be on our own but their just teaching us responsibility. Even though it pisses us off, maybe we'll appreciate it one day. Hopefully when it's not too late.
