KNOW YOUR WORTH.
One of the sayings I live my life by now is " never settle for less ". If you see millions, why settle for 6 figures? If you can further your education, why settle for just a diploma? If you can get paid $16 dollars an hour, why settle for minimum wage? I tell everyone I have the chance tell that. I wish that when I kept hearing "never settle for less", I would have listened. Back then I didn't know what it meant but I kept hearing it.
If you're in a relationship with someone and they don't meet YOUR standards, then you're settling for less. Never lower your standards to make someone else happy. No your standards aren't too high, you just know how you should be treated. You know you deserve the world. You know that a relationship only consists of two. That's another thing. NEVER ask for what you deserve and never apologize for being right.
That goes with friendships also. If you're uncomfortable with what they're doing, let them know. Don't settle for that just to be "cool" or to fit in. Surround yourself with people who want to be successful. You know your worth and some people just aren't worth your time.
