Derek's P.O.V
After Belle and I finished making Meredith her gift, Belle started gaining her appetite back so she asked me to make her mac n' cheese. " I don't know how to make it but i will try. Let me see the directions on the box," i tell her as I grab the box and ingredients.
"Yay! Can I help?"
"Sure," I answered her as she moved a chair near the stove.
"Where does mommy keep the pots and pans?"
"Over there," she answered back as she pointed to a cabinet.
I grabbed a pot, filled it with water, poured in the water pot, and turned on the fire. I turned my back to grab some salt and I heard a scream.
"Ah," I heard Belle screech out as I turned around. She fell off her chair and had a huge cut on her forehead.
"Baby," I yelled out as I ran to her to pick her up. She just grabbed onto my neck and wailed into my ear as I rubbed her back.
I looked at her forehead as she continued to cry.
"It's alright sweetie. I think we may need to go to the hospital."
